The color is lovely. However, it is very thin, and despite following the directions and spraying the chair only after sealing off all the areas I didn't want to dye, it somehow still leaked into some areas. It was easy enough to paint over them, though. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is the fact that, at $25 a pop, it wasn't enough to complete the project. Granted, it is a natural fiber chair seat, and thus very porous, but after purchasing $50 worth of dye for a $50 (my resale price) chair is quite counter-productive. My suggestion, use it on a much smaller project.

Paint drips so unless this part of your design it is less than satisfactory.

The nozzle dripped all over the ground and my boat, it was a waste to dye the canopy, can is a piece of crap!!!

Dries unevenly and leaves the fabric blotchy.

Used on my sectional cushions and it can out great, you have to follow the instructions or it will not spray evenly. I had.to order more for even coverage and i let it dry throughly. It leaves the fabric soft and will not rub off.

The color faded after use, and while using it kept clogging. Very expensive- a slip cover is better.

I bought 3 cans, removed the blue tab, shook the cans… first one spit out a few sprays then nothing. Had the level depressed all the way, shook the can again. A weak spray came out and splattered the couch cushion. Now it’s ruined. Tried the other two cans, same result.The worst experience with a product I’ve ever encountered. I now have a ruined couch cushion and three full but defective cans of this crap.Never again. Don’t bother. Lesson learned.And to make matters worse I didn’t save the receipts.

If you follow the additional instructions on the paper that they put in the box, the results are dramatic. My only complaint is that the spray comes out in spurts once you get halfway through the can. However, if you have a rag nearby then any "splotches" can be evened out.
