Solid desk, great value for the money
I've used high-end electric desks at work, and since you typically get what you pay for, I was a bit wary of buying one for home that was so relatively inexpensive. But overall the reviews were positive enough (especially regarding customer service) and there were some good tips regarding assembly, so I figured it was worth the risk. Both boxes arrived with the contents in perfect condition: the boxes used very thick, heavy cardboard, and the corner protectors on the desktop were made of a very dense rubber. I've unpacked a lot of furniture (assembling desks for classrooms and computer labs), and the packaging for this desk puts many so-called "commercial" products to shame. Any damage that might occur would be due to careless shipping and handling - not how the factory packed it.Assembling the desk was straightforward enough, although I've put together enough of this sort of furniture over the years that there weren't any surprises. Just take your time, follow the steps, and you'll be fine. This can be assembled by one person, but a second set of hands will make things easier. All of the pre-drilled holes lined up where they were supposed to. One assembly tip: line up one of the end holes in a leg with its corresponding hole in the desktop, and drop a thin nail into the hole to give it something to pivot around. Then with that hole aligned, line up each of the other holes, again dropping a thin nail into each one until they're all aligned. Then drive the screws, replacing each nail, one at a time. No guesswork, no misaligned screws, no do-overs.The only two pilot holes I had to add were for the center crossbar, so you will need a drill and a small bit (a hand drill or pin vise would work for this). For driving all of the screws I used a hand screwdriver, so I wouldn't run the risk of stripping out the particle board.Everything went together very nicely. There were no stripped threads or alignment issues. Overall, I felt the quality of the desk and and the fit and finish of the parts were excellent and exceeded my expectations. The motor operates pretty quietly, and raises and lowers the desk just fine, even with a bunch of stuff piled on top of it (I don't plan on testing what its limits are - it holds what I need). I had an error message pop up on the controller once when I attempted to recall a saved height, but unplugging the desk from power and reconnecting it resolved that. No issues since. The desk is solid and stable. At its higher settings it will sway a little bit when leaned on, but that's just physics at work - if you need something that's really solid at full height, get something with four legs instead of two.The only (minor) gripe that I have is that the cords could be a bit longer: the one for the control panel so you could reposition it if you needed to; and the power cord which barely reaches the width of the desk.I'm very pleased with this purchase. It met my budget, and exceeded my expectations. It's a good-looking, solid, quality desk. Hopefully it'll hold up over time - but so far, so good!

Simple and sturdy adjustable desk
It's exactly what I needed and hoped for our of a small desk. So to start it was reasonably easy to put together, however, the labeling of parts should probably be done. There's not a ton of parts so it's not hard to figure out, but labeling reduces cognitive load. The desk is nice, structurally, stable, and adjusts height at a reasonable pace. I originally bought it for work but it also works for my gaming setup though I may take down the tower later if I can figure out wire length issues when in standing height. All in all, it's a good fit and a comfortable one.

Great value for top quality standing desk
High quality product and great value by comparison to other places you could buy one, easy to assemble, sturdy and easily adjustable. This desk stands out from others because it is one piece top and flat one level for monitors and laptop. 48" x 24" allows plenty of space for two monitors, laptop, ipad, phone, notepad, coffee and water bottle.

GREAT DESK for college students
The value you get with this desk is AMAZING!If you read the instructions carefully, then it is easy to build. There are side notes to help you with building it.It is very sturdy and the quality of the materials is great! The desk moves up and down as long as you follow the instructions regarding the placement of the motor. The desk fits in my room and holds my binder, laptop, and college books all at the same time. The only thing I disliked was that none of the parts were labelled. It took me a little bit to figure out which leg was the right and left side. I wish the motor were a little more powerful, as it takes some time for it to transition from the seated to the standing position.Overall, I highly recommend this desk!

Great product and amazing price
I purchased the Flexispot EC1 Electric Standing Desk, which in my view is of the best value with its 48 in x 30 in desk surface providing more room to set up my dual 27-in monitors with just the right amount of the length of the 48 inch dimension of the desk, but the most significant advantage of this desk, at least for me, is the width of the desk at 30 in (from front to back), giving enough space of using the desk as an generous work space for writing, reading, as well as any task that I need a large surface to work on, particularly with the height adjustment, making it suitable for any projects that might require a standing versus a sitting position, giving this desk immense flexibility for carrying out different tasks in either a sitting or standing position, making it more than a desk for doing computer work.I prefer the standing desk over the standing desk converter, which is powered by a manual hydraulic lifter for multiple reasons, with first and foremost being the lack of working space in the standing desk converter, which is designed with enough space only for a keyboard and a mouse without much extra space, secondly with the difficulties making fine adjustment to the height of the desk, simply because the difficulties in lifting the hydraulic mechanism, and last but not the least that by nature the standing desk converter is not sturdy enough for leaning, which I tend to do after standing for a prolonged period, and consequently, I gave up on the standing desk converter that I purchased and returned the product to the company after testing it for about several weeks, even though it is more economical. After I set up the electric standing desk, I could immediately see the benefits of the desk because of its construction, sturdy and well built, with smoothing and quiet lifting mechanism that is very impressive to observe considering the weight of the desktop itself and the monitors that I placed top of the desk, but the most beneficial features of the desk is the seamless lifting mechanisms allowing adjustment of desk to any height, giving me the best position to work on whether in standing and sitting position, making my working environment more pleasant, pleasurable, and ergonomic for any tasks to be performed on this desk, and for the price of this desk, it is probably the best purchase that I have made for quite some time, and if you do not mind the color of the desk, you can receive a $40 rebate currently on Amazon for a desk with a white top and silver leg posts, which I chose without any hesitation, but still if you are interested in other colors, the costs of the Flexispot standing desk is a bargain in comparison to similar products from other companies.Last but not the least is the service that I have received from Flexispot in taking care a problem that came with the leg post with the motor, which was defective in fitting the leg of the desk with the screws were not long enough to reach the nut on the leg post, and my frustration was communicated to the chat support agent, whom I would like to mention her name being Nina, because she made all the difference in calming me down by patiently providing all the necessary information to help me to resolve the issues in arranging a replacement leg post to resolve the situation, and her kindness and generosity in taking the time in helping me to resolve the problem made all the differences, and for that I would like express my gratitude. In summary, Flexispot makes a great product, other than the problem that I have encountered with the leg post, the desk is strong, sturdy, smooth in lifting and lowering, great height both for standing and sitting, and I like the desk so much, I might consider purchasing another one for my wife's office, something to think about for her next birthday!
