Tiny, but perfect
1. I purchased 3 of these: SF Large Magnetic Fly Box (https://www.amazon.com/SF-Fishing-Super-Boxes-Compartments/dp/B09MRS2X5B/ref=asc_df_B09MRS2X5B?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80058380335000&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583657849108706&msclkid=b3ce3dec0d7a126b26035a63ccdd00eb&th=1)2. I then turned each fly box into a hook sample box -- to show me the sizes and relative proportions of the 50+ different hooks I use when tying flies.3. I know that accidents happen and -- in the event that one of the boxes fell or was dropped -- that the potential was there for the hooks to be dislodged into a jumbled mess.4. The fix for the problem is a cut-to-shape section from a plastic sandwich bag, tacked in place with these TINY NAILS: I push 6 or 7 nails through the plastic and into the foam along the outer edge of the fly box, then do the same with 3 nails along the inner (hinge) side.5. I use a bodkin (large needle) to make guide holes, then hold the tiny nails in an OdontoMed2011 Crocodile Alligator Forceps (https://www.amazon.com/OdontoMed2011-Hartmann-Crocodile-Alligator-Forceps/dp/B077D3BLVS/ref=sr_1_6?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.N7T9smZPC8lg6wsyBLFDg-KpJGWgLH4QsLZfY2gVjWUmRV0w77GxATpTi--G1NdXM1bb8u0zQOIleoP5zSE4VKNwx1tcDo9UzqUFHbPrEC0Qy7ox3-kV0UqR4ULwIgAxyQxuXzy1Ogc_5Ly4OALodjPNvfy7J3Y9UNpQYQ-qU6jNR86HuMa4V5kIy4GNLAfgGbpbHSpIV3PHsI8o0F3JaGRLMb1IOg2Fk6rhWDs2IUw.H8uOEMvyXHnShRykc_4uU1i4PORVHZFSa-b6cVj2TCw&dib_tag=se&keywords=OdontoMed2011%2BCrocodile%2BAlligator%2BForceps&qid=1737475423&sr=8-6&th=1)6. The results were excellent. These TINY NAILS were exactly what I needed.

These are incredibly tiny
Ended up being way smaller than I needed. No fault of them just couldn’t use them.

Teeny Tiny Tacks
I used them to create a frame loom for tapestry. Had to use a needle nosed pliers to hold them as I hammered them into the frame. I should have bought longer ones, but these are holding well.

What I needed
Needed to nail a plexiglass cover over a decorative shadowbox. These were perfect. I do recommend starting the holes with a drill bit. And you'll save yourself some stress if you hold them with fine tip tweezers while you gently nail them it.

Teeny tiny
These nails were so teeny tiny that I couldn’t hammer them in. I guess there must be a way but for me they didn’t work for my intended use of securing fairy lights.

Perfect Nails for French Antique
These nails were perfect for a 230 year old priceless French open top desk being restored. It was handed down from a time when it was part of a prepared home in Maine that was to belong to Marie Antoinette if she had escaped France. The size and material of these nails had to be simulate the originals and be perfect to fit the tiny holes holding brass decorations on the lid.
