Works great for combination skin
I’ve got combination skin and had been using the same facial products for years. Out of nowhere, I broke out with a few pimples. I read the reviews and was sold on it and I’m very happy I went with it. It really has no scent, which is a huge factor for me. Not sure why our facial cleansers need to have a scent. It’s nice and creamy, not too thick and not too thin. I put about a dime size of the creamy cleanser on my little face cleanser tool and work it up to a nice lather. I then rinse with cool water to close my pores. I’ve used it faithfully twice a day and within 2 days my pimples were gone. I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll use this from now on and it’ll last a long time because it doesn’t take much at all and it’s a pretty good sized tube. If you’ve got combination skin, I highly recommend this facial cleanser.

Strong peppermint or menthol smell/tingle on the skin
I always check the ingredients in beauty products on cosdna before purchasing, and this product does very well in that analysis (no major irritants or acne-causing ingredients). However, I also dislike peppermint/menthol in my face products because they cause my skin to start stinging if I don't wash them off fast enough. I didn't see any peppermint or menthol listed in the ingredients and then was surprised to discover that it had that as the primary smell/sensation. Some people like this, so I will not rate lower than 4 stars, but it was an unpleasant surprise for me because I have sensitive skin and now when I use this I need to rush to lather and wash it off before the tingling gets to be too much.Other than that it is a fine product and a value price-wise. I just wanted to make sure that I wrote this review for anyone else that dislikes peppermint/menthol in their face products.

Great Facial Wash
Great light smelling facial wash. I have combination, sensitive & mature skin. This wash makes my face feel nice & it helps my complexion look fresh not dull. This does not irritate my skin. I use the Botanic moisturizer everyday non greasy light smell. I also exfoliate scrub 1x-2x a week with the Botanic. My face doesn't reflect my age since I have been using this for 3-5 months. Just wish you could get a discount or something when you buy these. They are a bit pricey est. $20 a piece.

So glad I found Botanic Tree
I just turned 30 years old and I have been battling acne since I can remember. With the years it has gotten better (as my diet and exercise has IMproved) however there’s always that stubborn acne that won’t go away. Amazon reccomended this brand and I gave it a try. It has been only 2 weeks and my face has immensely improved. I use this botanic tree vitamin C cleanser in the AM (among with vitamin C serum and moisturizer) and botanic tree glycolic acid cleanser at night along with toner. Best decision ever. I recently bought their stretch marks lotion and will start using this!

Combo 1-2 punch with their exfoliating scrub
I am 59 and have terrible hormonal acne plus blackheads on nose and chin. I've tried so many products - EXPENSIVE products - to no avail. I read the reviews here and thought "what the heck?"O.M.G.!!!!You can see the results (on blackheads) immediately, and on the blemishes with overnight reduction. I recommend using it as part of the co-washing routine with their Exfoliating cleanser. I exfoliate first, then the Vitamin C, and BAM! So glad that this happened in an age when cameras magnify every fault - and we are only experiencing life through cameras.

Works okay, BURNS if it even comes close to eyes
This is NOT for you if you want to take off eye makeup or even just wash off your cleanser by going near or over your eyes, it burns horribly on the eyes. Seems decently effective on the skin, but I wouldn't re-purchase because of this. Also, small note but there is a typo on the front of the bottle which looks really unprofessional and makes me worry a little bit about the quality of this. Still using to get my use out of it, but I'm not super pleased with it
