Seems to work
I bought this because I have an aggressive little black cat. He fights with other toms all the time, even though he has been 'done'. I used ashwaganda on my little she-cat recently when she was on heat, { she's been done since then} and that worked great, so thought I'd give this a try. First day I gave him five drops, and I think that was too much, because he just slept. He's not big so I 'm now giving him three drops per day rather than five. It really does work, chilled him out completely. it smells very strong but he eats it with no problems, and he's a fussy eater generally.

Stressed Cat
Bought to try and calm down a stressed cat after all else had apparently failed. Very hard to tell how much difference it made but I would say he was calmer and slept more. It is easy to dispense the correct amount with the pipette. The drops smell very strongly though which seems to be pretty off-putting for the cat. Luckily the one we were trying to dose was greedy enough to overlook it when the drops went onto strongly flavoured/smelling foods, but none of our other cats would even go near his bowl so I suspect none of those would have been willing to take them.

Really disappointing
Really disappointed with this product, especially after some of the good reviews. It smells rancid and my cat won't go near it, he even went on an almost 24 hour hunger strike when I put some on his food, in the morning, because he wouldn't touch his food as he thought it would be on it for the next few feeds - I wouldn't go near it either with how strong and vile it smells! Can't comment on if it works really since he wouldn't try it.

Stressed cat now much calmer
Seems to work for us. One of my cats started spraying around the house. Especially around my leather couch and the front door. This was most likely caused by another male cat from a few streets away coming into his territory. He had worked out a relationship with the other cats in our street but this was a new intruder and a violent one to boot. After my cat got badly injured twice by this cat we changed his outdoor routine (he canât be kept inside for good as it makes him very unhappy and he takes it out on our older cat and us. He loves his freedom. So now we only let him out very early in the morning, when all is quiet and get him inside before we go to work. To settle him down I started giving him these drops (we had been given calming capsules by the vet but they didnât have any effect on him). Just two wee droplets on a bowl of lick-e-lix. He seems much more relaxed and just goes to sleep somewhere in the house after his breakfast. When we get home from work in the afternoon he is allowed out again for another couple of hours before settling down for the evening. I give him another two droplets. We have no cat flap so when he got attacked he had no way of getting himself inside the safety of our house. At least now we can intervene if the other cat turns up around our house. He hasnât sprayed anywhere in a while and seems to have settled into the new routine well. He is much more relaxed now. It seems to work for us.

Foul smell and cat sick but seems to calm cat
I had read the other reviews but I wasnât prepared for how foul this would smell. It made me gag let alone my poorly cat who was sick on serval occasions after trying this.I put the drops under his food but the smell was still present. The first time my cat ate most of his food, he was sick twice after but seemed a lot calmer. The second meal he hardly touched and threw up 3 times in the night. However - he has been playing this morning so obviously a lot calmer. It is such a shame it has these adverse effects because I would love to keep giving it to him but he hasnât eaten enough food and too much sick.

Really works to calm my cat
My male adopted cat was very anxious when we first got him, but gradually became more confident around us and indoors. He became very territorial due to two other male cats in nearby houses. He started spraying in the house, mainly the front door and kitchen bin near back door, and spends hours staring under our back gate on look-out for the other cat! He also had a fight with one of the cats and got injured :( This all contributed to his stress. Been to vets for help and started using diffusers and stop-wee sprays around areas he used, which didnt really help. Spent a fortune! Vet not willing to prescribe anxiety medication, but finally got recommended valerian diffuser which definitely improved things. So when I spotted this I thought I would give it a go. It has been excellent. He is much calmer, less jumpy, seems to patrol his territory less and literally no more weeing/spraying around the house. It's a miracle! I don't use much - 2-3 drops in his wet food every other day seems to be just right for him. Think the 1-2 drops for every kilo of weight would be too much. There is a smell to the drops but he does not seem to be bothered with it in his food. Bonus!
