Not sure what I expected, but this surprised me. It is a very nice set. The tufting seems fine all over. Nice set with the dust ruffle and pillows. My color is blush, and looks fabulous for everyday use. I bought a second set as they are on sale. I have pets, and this way I have a second set for quick changes, that way my bedroom is always beautiful. You cannot beat the price right now. Not sure all colors don't have a king size, but I like larger comforters, So I was planning on ordering a king set for my spare. But none are available. So get this one while you can. Great for a guest room, a gift, or, for yourself.Update: have had this set for some time, tiny 5 lb dogs love it too. I put a little doggie cover over top for my Maltese, and she repeatedly rolls up the doggie cover to get to the feel of this Set. I have washed this many many times and it comes out perfect, wrinkle free each time and looks new. This material is a Faux Silk. As such it sews well, looks good, perfect for many things. The pillows are nicce and look great as well. My only con and it is strictly my preference, is that they are not large enough. I like them to be longer and wider to comfortably fit the bed and show it off well. Higher priced ones are larger dimensions, so, they save somewhere. I love having a spare set to wash and reset my bed without having to wait for the process. I prefer to set the bed right away. This set survives pets, washes well, looks great with minimal effort.

This comforter has a soft underside. The top has a but of a sheen to it and is a coarser fabric than the underside. i have read complaints of this. But it is simply so that the tuck and pin effect is more striking and the corners are stiff enough to hold corner shape like in photos. Is a gorgeous plum color. Very good price. The piping is not white. In some photos it appears to be white but it is actually light silver which worked perfectly with my accents. Comes with a dust ruffle and shams and also three decorative throw pillows in different shapes. These are purple and light silver. Shams are also the pin tuck material. I use plain pillows in these for decorative purposes only so they will not need to be washed every few days and wind up faded compared to the comforter. I got this set as it was on sale and to put inside a duvet cover. It works well for that but we like this set better than the duvet cover set and wound up using this set instead. It is made better. I recommend flicking it into place rather than tugging into place to smooth simply because pin tucking can pop stitches. I havent had this problem but i am not excessively violent with ut either. I read complaints of this. Which could be reinforced if neccessary but so far after almost two months of daily use i have not had any issues. I wanted to include photos with natural lighting to help people make the choice if this was right for them but I am not seeing an option to do so. The pin tuck look also helps hide wrinkles as significant other is a violent sleeper and crumples the comforter to the foot of the bed nightly. Is very warm. I wanted something fluffy and this is fluffy which looks great when making the bed but will be too much in the summer. I plan to use a lighter blanket as a cover as it looks so good when the bed it made. It definitely holds the corners up like in photos because of the fluffiness and top fabric. Wash in cold water and line dry. Any fluffy comforter will bunch in a dryer if not done properly. Especially a large size comforter. Measure mattress and how far you want it to go down the sides. I ordered a size larger because of having a double pillow top mattress so the mattress is very thick and i like my comforters to drape down the sides.

Throw in dryer for 10 minutes to knock out wrinkles and make fluffy

I cannot tell you how perfect this plumb color is for my silver bed. I added a few throw pillows with browns and teals for a little pop of color . I was not fond of the pillows it came with they are well made and nice, but too monochrome for my taste. I took and included a picture of them to show. The queen size fits my 60x81 queen sized bed perfectly. I have a fairly thick 13 inch pillow top mattress - no box springs - my bed frame sits fairly low to the floor and this comforter hangs with just the right drop on each side . All 7 pieces are very well made. Item arrived a full day ahead of schedule. I purchased a “used like new” version and it was sealed as the original , perfectly clean and odor free. Do not hesitate to order this style there are other colors if you do not like plumb .

The media could not be loaded. Aesthetically beautiful just like in pictures! Enhanced the look of my master bedroom. Comforter is warm and shams are really good too.

Gorgeous! Just as advertised! Outside is a bit scratchy. I don't plan on sleeping on top of the comforter so no worries!
