Miracle in a tube!!
I wish I would have found this product two weeks ago! I have been suffering with so much pain, I even had trouble sleeping. This stuff is amazing! I am 12 hours out from the first application and feeling almost no pain! If you are struggling this is the product for you.

A very effective product
I purchased the maximum strength twice, and it provided immediate relief. The results from only one and one half tubes could very well be the end of fifty years of pain and bleeding. With the help of this product, I was able to learn to relax and stop forcing my BMs. I believe this is key to permanently eliminating hemorrhoids.

this is a serious pain relief. works well
If you're dealing with serious pain, this is a serious pain relief. I've been in the pain cave for a few months and this has been a godsend. It works for about 3-6 hours but it definitely works almost instantly but if not, within a few minutes, you'll feel much better. No side effects i've experienced.

works for me, price for small amount is outrageous
i’d give 5 stars if the price ($28.36–and discounted to around $25 for second and third purchased tubes) wasn’t so outrageous for the small amount in the tube. but i’m now ordering my third tube, becuz this has really worked for me (i started out with a TERRIBLE hemorrhoid situation) and i’m able to manage the cost (so far). i received my first tube on november 21, and will be receiving my third tomorrow on dec 1. i still have a little left in my second tube.i generally follow the directions, and insert the cream (i use vaseline jelly on the insertion piece) for extended periods of time usually no more than three or four times— i say this becuz due to the issues i’m having, i can insert inside the cream, but then have it wasted by having to go again not long after.i also reapply the cream all the time to the external hemorrhoid and general anus.and that gets wasted too if i have to go again not long after. so the small 28 oz amount and me often having to go again after application, makes these tubes go fast.update: even with my bathroom trips having decreased a little more with time (and the heather tummy fiber powder i’ve started taking) these tubes just simply are too small for the price and go fast within days. it’s not even like i insert or apply a huge amount either. and i /know/ i’m going more than three times a day but still. (also as i wrote above i generally have the cream actually inserted 3-4 times for extended periods of time. so i don’t go over that. but i can insert a couple or few more times than that and have it wasted, becuz even with my bms having decreased a little in frequency from a couple weeks ago, (things seem to be improving) there’s still those magical moments when you just went, got yourself all cleaned up with water and cleansing wipes, insert and externally apply the cream, add some vaseline jelly too, then finally you walk out the bathroom and almost immediately or within minutes you have to go again. it’s not as torturous tho, even having to go again so soon, becuz of how much better i can go again without excruciating pain)so obviously i use more, but if the tubes had at least twice the amount and were still $25-28 that would rly make a difference and wouldn’t screw ppl like me over as much (i must have sumthing like ibs d, and developed hemorrhoid/s after several weeks of my bowel system completely betraying me and having to go so many times a day. it’s a lot better tho) , who yes are going to be using more than other ppl, but i have literally spent over a hundred dollars for a few 28oz tubes.i know preparation h sells 50oz tubes for like $11-12 on amazon, and if i knew for sure it would work the same i’d switch over. but dr butler was the first stuff i tried and it’s been working great (it’s not an instant healing of course, but after two weeks my terrible hemorrhoid situation has vastly improved and it’s no longer the excruciating pain when going, and the external hemorrhoid has very much decreased in size.)if anyone is ever in a situation like i’ve been and am still in, you are screwed if you can’t manage the costs of multiple tubes. so i would keep that in mind when considering this product.

Better Than All The Others!
So, who really wants to write a review about hemorrhoid cream?! Okay. I’ll do it.I have used many creams and ointments in the last 20 years; every over-the-counter tube I could fine. When I’m having serious pain, this is the only tube I look for. It works better than all the others. I think it’s a little more expensive than some but a little going a long way and when the pain gets bad, I’d pay any amount for the instant relief that this ointment brings.I also like that it’s a little thicker ointment rather than the white cream. The creams don’t coat as well.I’ve recommended this ointment to many people.

Not worth it.
Midly effective, even for milder discomfort. Anisol ointment is a much better product if you can find it.

Saved my life physically, mentally, and emotionally!! Hope itll heal quick!
I read the reviews, was in need of an emergency because I had three lumps on my hemorrhoids. I don't have medical insurance so I didnt want to go to the Doctor's. At first when using this, it did help minimize the pain a lot. I didnt use the applicator that came with the ointment. I used my fingers. I washed my fingers really clean, washed the inside of my bottom with a fitz bath really well, then applied the ointment on my lumps with one finger at a time, gently. I applied the cream around the lumps, on the sides, and bottom, tops, if needed because I noticed if I missed any side then that area would still hurt a lot.The inside of my right butt cheek (where the hemorrhoids are present) went numb which is understandable as the numbing helps with easing the pain. It did feel irritated down there but only because I had severe hemorrhoids (painful to stand, walk, sleep, sit, do anything basically). I followed the directions which was to apply no more than 4x daily. I had to apply TWICE during sleeping because it was SOO PAINFUL. I wasnt sleeping correctly. I had to elevate my right leg to reduce pressure on my hemorrhoids and it helped with the healing process. I woke up with minimized pain and the lumps are smaller than the day before, thankfully!I want to say that even though you dont feel any pain and you still have hemorrhoids, and even it the pain is minimized, please do still follow precautions. Do not do anything to strain your hemorrhoids until its fully healed. The worse thing is your hemorrhoids causing a popped blood vessle. Goodluck! Everyones healing time and severity is different! Use at your own risk, consult with your dr first if youre able to, and follow the directions.

The best at what it's intended for
I scream, you scream, we all cream for @ss cream. LOL. This is better than any regular hemorrhoidal ointment in my opinion. It contains 4% lidocaine, which helped me numb the pain, and then goes to work to soothe the hemorrhoid. But you have to use it as directed, three times a day to get best results. I just wish it was also something that cured hemorrhoids.
