For shifting absolutely fantastic I have a 51 shifter for the rear XT shifter for the front both work very well with these guides I like that they give you a bag of covers for the ends easy to cut easy to use

Yes, the other reviews are correct. This is indeed j@gw#!e housing, for a significant savings. If you need shifter housing, this is what you should purchase.I installed this on a bike with SRAM 12sp and the shifting is perfect when coupled with a jagwire slick inner cable.

… because it *is* the name brand. I maintain enough bikes that I usually keep some of this stuff on hand. I had read in another review that it is the same stuff sold by the name brand (rhymes with “bag fire”) and thought I would give it a shot. It is indeed the lower end product from those guys and works just as well as you might expect. At this price, it’s a no brainer.

I expected just a generic cable housing but when I opened it up I realized it was Jagwire brand. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. Jagwire is amazing!

This is actually a top name brand housing. I was expecting cheaper yet sufficient cable housing, and got the food stuff much to my surprise. I got the 50ft because I kept running out and so I wouldn't have to come back anytime soon for more, but if I do need more I'll get this again.

The housing is OEM I'm pretty sure for most of my bikes, and it's always worked great. The plastic caps are not perfect but they work fine once everything settles into place.
