Joyoung JYL-Y15U Professional Grade Countertop Blender, Soy Milk Maker, Juicer, Food Processor, Makes Warm Drink at 47 Oz and Cold Drink at 60 Oz with One-Click Cleaning Function

I bought a Joyoung JYL-Y15U Countertop Blender/Cooker from CuisineTalent as a gift. Here's how it went:Ordered, it arrived, it didn't work - displayed an error code. Contacted CuisineTalent, they had me try some checks, no luck - returned the item. They sent a label, I shipped it back, They gave me full credit for the return. Meanwhile, on their advice I ordered another one expecting to give a late gift. It arrived well ahead of schedule - in time for the occasion. Throughout, the folks at CuisineTalent communicated clearly, responded quickly, and did everything they could to make it a success. (And the blender/cooker is an awesome kitchen tool!)

Think twice if you are considering purchasing this item. I would like to share my who experience here so that future potential buyers can make an informed decision.I purchased this blender on Nov 1, 2024 and it arrived roughly two weeks later. After using it for only 1 month and 2 weeks, on Christmas Eve, it stopped working. The digital controlling pad gave error messages and alarming frequently. This is mostly a programming issue because all parts were still looking good and no visible damages. I cannot point to any parts for malfunctioning, replace them to make the blender work again.During the 1 month and 2 weeks when it worked, it was not everyday use either. I used it 3 times a week on average. In the end, the item was returned and a 50% restocking fee was applied. In total, I spent $293.93 on this item, shipping and tax. After no more than 2 months, with using it for no more than 20 times, I got $134.44 refund, after the loss in restocking fee and shipping charges.On average, the cost per use is a little shy of $8. This has not even included the time and efforts to deal with it when it was broken, time to communicate for returning the item and the time to ship it back at UPS.

This is a decent choice of high speed blender. I tried make sesame pates, it came out very smooth. However, do not follow the recipe that came with the blender. The ratio is way off. You gonna figure it out your own recipe yourself.I also made fish soup, the blending power is amazing, it blend everything into soup. But the fish soup just doesn’t taste the same as the traditional way. However, it did has some residue left(tiny fish bones). I suggest filter the soup before consuming. This is understandable. No matter how good the blender, there always will be a little bit that’s not completely crushed residue.Overall, the blending power is amazing. It’s easy to clean, it can cook hot soup, maybe the taste come out doesn’t right, that’s something else.I would recommend this product.

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time.. your soup is boiling hot and ready to eat right out of the blender. Saves alot of time...
