Q: Why is the price for a battery almost $200 when i can buy a unit and get the battery and a charger for an upcharge of only $90?

Because these trimmers are as strong as a gas trimmer. They work everytime. It has a long run time. I cut around my house 3 time on a charge. I ran mine out of charge yesterday. First time I did not finish trimming and it was only due to a section of high weeds and grass I tackled. After cutting those weeds I think it has more torque than a gas trimmer. That is why the Battery is $140.00. Those cheap leaser units are for mild trimming at best.

Q: Can you leave battery on change all night

Yes you can leave the battery on the charger over night. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger will switch to a maintain mode.

Q: Why is it i can buy an all new ego blower with a battery and charger, and its tje same cost as a replacement battery?

Because it's how they make money. They got U buy the whole set for cheap then when battery die (they already timed how long battery will last), U HAVE to BUY the new one for replacement. U got hooked on it for as long as U still use the blower. By the way, have U seen anything last as long as they used to?????
