Pokémon Adventures FireRed & LeafGreen / Emerald Box Set: Includes Vols. 23-29 (Pokémon Manga Box Sets)

I bought these for a 12 year old boy who is Dyslexic. He had been in Special ED at school for 5 years but he continued to have trouble reading so he did not enjoy reading. Once I started buying the Pokemon books he started reading more. These are simple to read and easy for him to read. After he reads a book I have him write a 2 or 3 sentence book report for each book. He must complete the book reports for every book in the collection before I order him the next collection. It took him a couple of months to complete the reading and book reports for the first 2 collections I bought. Now he has the books read and the book reports written within a couple of week. He told me the other day he is enjoying reading. Thank you Hidenori Kusaka for writing these books.

If you play the games at all you will love these, brings a very unique perception on what you know and love, very diff from the core show, and still diff from the game itself, even though it's rated A don't let it fool you it's not really kiddish at all, super engaging story, also closest story that directly reflects what the creator of Pokemon originally imagined. Start with the Red Blue Yellow box set it's phenomenal and creates a whole new nostalgic experience like you felt when you watched Pokemon or picked up game for first time.

The books are good. No damage. The reason I gave a 4 out of 5 because the box was a little damage. It was't properly packed when it arrived. Overall, it's a good.

Everything was as expected except it didn’t have the poster advertised (the box even says it has one). Sad because I am collecting them

I like that the story continues with great characters although i prefer they change the villain in Emerald to one that hasnt been revealed anywhere but in the end it was still awesome to read👍.

the main issue that I have with this item is that because of the delivery and handling, some of the books became damaged. This could be due to delivery methods, but it still lowered my impression of the overall order.

Headline says it all. They are a bit pricey but worth it for as much as they get read.

Everything was clear, clean and even came sealed. I love everything about it.

This box set is a series of comic books and not proper stories with chapters. There is no description of the book on the amazon website that says this. Very disappointing. And I just noticed that you need to read it from right to left so backwards, starting from the end of the book working to the front cover!

Bought these books for my son as a birthday gift. He has several others and absolutely loves them but he was very disappointed that the poster was missing. A real shame as the books are very expensive for what they are. Disappointing especially as it was a gift.

Bought for my son who loves pokemon and will only read these books.
