Has a metal insert on the plastic part that likes to break on the OEM bracket, which is frankly how Chevy should have designed it. You'll need to move your clutch pedal over from the old bracket. When you do, some of the plastic bushings on the clutch pedal might not survive. There are two different kinds of bushings and a pivot piece. Getting the part numbers for these from Chevy can be like pulling teeth but I managed and will provide them here:15734674 inner bushings (need 2)15023000 outer bushings (need 2)15734410 plastic pivot (need 1)

Perfect fit and better than oem. It comes with a metal piece instead of all plastic. I also have a 2001 Chevy 2500HD. Same exact part even though it says it doesn’t fit. Hopefully this helps some people

This is the fifth time this component has broke in the truck, mainly because someone installed a high performance clutch. This is the only one that had a metal insert. This worked great for my 2001 GMC truck.
