Very fun to use. It’s about the size of a real feather but feels like using a normal pen. It does leak if you aren’t careful and not using it right. It’s made very well and is very durable.

So cute! Great for the price, it was a gift, so I haven't personally tried it out, but I would love to sometime. Very pretty packaging and design.

Worked well and looked really cool on my desk

The product came beautifully boxed with 3 various nibs. Upon further research, I found out the nibs aren’t really quality, being cheaply manufactured and not like quality fountain ink nibs which means leakage and feathering of ink on your preferred writing page. BUT I researched and verified pen holder is able to fit nibs of different brand. The pen holder is very pretty, thick and feels good in my hand. My brown feather was sort of bent and not as full as I’d hoped. The ink is mediocre, but other inks can be purchased. I got it to write in a beautiful brown leather journal and it seems like it will be a lot of fun to use . One more thing, a pen holder with nib attached should never be stored straight up and down like the pen stand holds, although it is also very attractive with an ink holder. A fountain pen with nib in pen holder be stored horizontally for long time use. Overall the product is pretty and vintage looking, and a good place to begin setting up for calligraphy writing.

Great gift idea, though my daughter and I were confused on the inkwell, a plastic/runner cap was covering it and it was hard to remove, it looked almost glued on so we weren't even sure if we were supposed to remove the plastic covering or poke a hole in it, that bit was the only reason it's not 5 stars, aside from that it works really well and birthday girl was happy!

Of all the dip pens I've purchased, the nib that comes on this quill writes the smoothest. It's fun to use, feels good in my hand and I love the design. I'm not a fan of the ink it comes with and the ink holder is too small for my favorite inks. The dip pen is durable, but the feather is as delicate as any feather would be. This is a great gift for anyone who wants to write with a quill or learn calligraphy (I'm a double dunce when it comes to calligraphy though). It was worth my money!

This is such a neat item!! I bought this for a gift for my niece to go with an old looking leather journal. The nibs seem well made. The metal on the handle is legit! Nice weight to it. After her birthday party, she got this out to write with right away! Worked very well! I think the price is decent as well. Very beautiful details on this own! Now my daughter wants one for her birthday. 😊
