Quality materials, good looks, awful fit and finish
I have a couple Sodbuster Jrs from years ago. They've held up well and have been easy to maintain. I don't know if they got better with time and use, but this new one seems pretty terrible by comparison. The handle is beautiful and the blade is nice and shiny, but the factory edge is atrocious -- rough, borderline serrated, and with a terrible burr over half the length. The slipjoint is also rough and the knife makes a crunchy/grindy sound when opening. After completely reprofiling the edge on a KME system, and flushing and lubing the slipjoint, it's a solid little pocket knife. But this is all stuff that should have been done at the factory.

Nice knife
Very nice knife for the price but the edge was clearly a rushed job. Not that much of a problem.

Nice Knife … great color
Brought this knife and returned it for a replacement … uneven handle work, lousy craftsmanship. Perhaps a rush job from Case? The replacement was better but is still extremely difficult to open, even after hours of fidgiting and lubing. I really like the color and will keep it.Lately, I’ve found I have to be really alert to the quality of the Case knives I buy. Seems like they need to do a better job with quality control … in the past this wasn’t the case IMO. So, buyers beware.

Great knife
The knife is beautiful. Just took too long to get here. Paid extra to get it here by Christmas. Ad said it would arrive 3 days before Christmas. Should up Dec 26. Very disappointing
