DEWALT DCF815B 12V Max Impact Driver 1/4" (Tool Only)

I owned the 12V Dewalt power screwdriver for years, and used it continually for both drilling and driving screws. Then one day it was gone, having left it outside while working on my fence. So someone else has it now, God bless 'em. After needing it about 25 times after that, I surely had to get another one. The bare tool option is awesome, since I already had a case, charger and battery. However. the power screwdriver was not available...but the impact drill was, and virtually the same size and weight so I tried it. So glad it worked out this way, because the impact drill is a POWERHOUSE, driving anything into anything. Battery life is great. Does everything the screwdriver did and much more. The LED light placement is perfect, and so versatile. Way to go, Dewalt! Also, the 12V mini flashlight is brilliant...got my eye on the 12V reciprocating saw!

Awesome little driver. Buy it!Been using mine daily as a plumber /Appliance installer for nearly 3 years. I use it at every job (6-8 per day) and it has not disappointed me once. Lightweight, powerful, comfortable, and impressive run times, with 30 minute charging. Possibly the best cordless power tool Dewalt has ever made.

Been using these for a while and have other brands to compare it with. For most jobs it is a great tool, not too big but packs a punch. Save the 14V and 18V for larger work. Battery life is great too. For extra versatility I have a set a drill bits and it saves having to reach for another tool.Only bad thing is it doesn't float, (dropped my other one in the bay working on my boat).

This was a replacement. My son liked mine enough that it followed him home. I bought this to replace it. I feel like this tool really needs the 2.0 amp battery, rather than the 1.5 amp batteries that come in DeWalt kits. Very good torque for a 10.8v tool (12v Max is just marketing). Nicely balanced, and has succeeded at the DIY stuff and honey-do lists for which I use it.

Good drill. Light, powerful and durable. Pair with the 12v XR battery and you get a beast. Highly recommend. Use it for work everyday, and I even built a playground with it. 10/10 Drill.

Got this to pair with the matching hex drill/driver. I already owned. Works very well, plenty of power. Louder than I was expecting, but perhaps the nature of these tools. Not as feature rich as some more recent competition, but a great choice for the casual DIY home owner.
