Quality Tool
It arrived sharp, well-crafted, and well-balanced. I do Viking era re-enactments. This works very well as a belt axe for camping, swings properly, splits and cuts great. You can choke up behind the head for fine work like skinning or slicing. I rounded a couple of corners on the head to reduce bite when doing that.Well worth the money. Similar Scandinavian axes are 4X the price.

Beautiful and balanced. Fantastic Axe, Fantastic Price!
This is a fantastic axe. I'm a historical reenactor and this axe fits very nicely in with my early period woodworkers tools. It's a very close copy of one found in a dig in Scandinavia. The axe itself has a wonderful balance, and came pretty well sharpened. Bluing is very well done and goes right to the finished edge. The handle is unfinished, perfect for a reenactor. I was set to spend several hours stripping it, but no need. It's also light weight and balanced. Thanks very much for a fabulous axe.

Cool Looking Forged axe
I like the overall look and feel of this small axe. The handle is a bit bigger than I would expect for the size of the head, but it feels good in the hand, also quite light.. My axe came sharp, and the grinds appear to have been done right. The handle looks and feels secure, but I've yet to test it on any wood. My only complaint is a cosmetic one, where it appears that someone dropped it, and dinged the top tip (flattened it a bit, and the black coating came off). I'm not really concerned about this. in that I can easily re-shape it with a file, no biggie. I'll update this review after I use it for chopping, hope it has a good heat treatment.

Beautiful little tool
Beautiful little hatchet, well balanced and sharp. Love the blade shape and it has a relatively thin edge profile. A little smaller than I imagined but is easy to carry and use. Rock solid handle that's well seated.

Proportions are different from photo
It’s a good little hatchet: the head is secure on the handle with a pin, not glue, and the blade is reasonably shaped. I took a file to the blade to both sharpen and get a better angle on the top point but otherwise it is just fine. The proportions look different in the photo. The head seems smaller in person which I surprised me a bit. It is quite light.

Very sharp straight out of the box.
The hatchet was well built yet light weight. I received it quicker than I thought I would. It was very sharp and has performed as I had hoped. I would buy it again without hesitation.

Fantastic buy!
Perfect camping/around the house hatchet. Extremely well made, comfortable, razor sharp. Workmanship and finish is great. This is an awesome buy for the money-highly recommend if you're looking for a smaller cutting tool. Can't go wrong.

Very happy with the axe. Feels good in the hand and light weight
I plan to use this axe for my hiking pack. The mask did not come with the axe. I bought it separately on Amazon. I watched a YouTube review based on one of the reviewers. I believe it will do everything I could want and more.
