Nongshim Soon Veggie Noodle Soup, 3.95 Ounce

I was introduced to this brand thanks to the Kimchi cup noodles that were sold at Costco for a short period of time. That was the first vegan/vegetarian instant noodles I had tasted in the US, that didn't require me to drive to the Indian store (my beloved Maggi noodles). I decided to explore this brand and came across this flavor as well.On its own, it's quite flavorful. Not spicy but not bland either. For my personal appetite, the single packet is quite a lot of food, more than enough for one meal, especially if you combine it with a side of veggies and some protein. I recently discovered that they make a cup noodle version of this flavor as well, which would be a more appropriate serving size for a snack on its own, or in a meal as a source of carbs. With these and with the Kimchi ones, I like to have some stir fried veggies and some pan fried tofu along with it to make a it a full meal.If you're a vegan / vegetarian looking for tasty instant noodles, I would definitely recommend this one. I would also recommend the Kimchi noodles from this brand Nongshim (the cup noodles are vegan, the packet is not).If you live near an Indian store, I would recommend buying Maggi (regular masala) noodles and Top Ramen (various flavors) noodles, as those were what I primarily grew up eating.

This is hands down the best vegetarian ramen noodles out there. I have tried both the packaged version and the cup version. The packaged version is a larger portion, and is about twice as much. I would say it is a full meal.The soup has a great flavor, and the broth is mildly spicy and rich. I actually wish they made a spicier version. Each has a powder packet, and a vegetable packet. The veggie packet in the package version has some seaweed, as well as some mushroom bits. In the cup version it also has some corn which is very good, but I still prefer this version and typically add a few things on my own.Typically I add a bit of chili oil, fish sauce (not vegetarian, but I eat seafood), a dash of rice wine vinegar, tofu, pickled bamboo, and enoki mushrooms are all great choices. Although if you are lazy these are truly great on their own.The noodles in the nongshim ramyuns are thicker and have a good spring to them compared to other ramen that can be found in the US.Highly recommended.

I love this ramen. It is ramen so it’s still not super healthy but I feel so much better eating this than I would top ramen. Its filling and has such a good flavor. Spicy and also vegan! Easy to travel around with or just have at home. I’ve only ever seen this at a grocery store once so I’m so happy it’s on Amazon. Wish it were cheaper like top ramen but for the quality I do think it’s worth the extra price.

Aug 25, 2020 - was eagerly waiting for it's delivery. As per updates, it was at a nearby city 10 mins away at 4am. At 4pm, I got the message that it's delayed by 2 days which is ridiculous. Please be aware of shipping delays.Update Aug 26, 2020 - It was wrongly delivered to a neighbor. Thankfully, she informed us. Product is good as always. Flavor is awesome if you try it with Sriracha sauce.

these are the best ramen I've tasted. the texture of the noodles is firm, not the usually mushy stuff you get in the American supermarket variety. Nongshim is a Korean brand and they have a more gourmet taste, we eat them as a meal, and it's not just a cheap substitute meal, it's something we savor and enjoy while watching Korean dramas on Netflix.You are in for a treat, from the time you open the perfectly molded round (pan-shaped!) noodle block to the time you finish the deliciously spicy broth.Feel free to use only half the packet because it's quite spicy, and here is a food hack tip: the seasoning is so delicious, that I use the unused amounts to perk up everything from turkey to pork to chicken to rice, it just adds a nice spicy veggie flavor that you will love.

Got these yesterday. Decided to have vegan noodle soup for breakfast. Made it on the stovetop. After the water boiled , I added the veggie pack and most of the seasoning envelope. Returned to the boil and added the noodles. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes, poured it in the bowl and added an egg that I stirred in. My 93 year old mother loves rice noodles but nothing spicy. She sais " what is that wonderful smell?" and wanted a taste. One minute later , she's back with a little bowl and asks " Can I have little more , with some of that good broth?" So- not too spicy for her! I can tell you we will be ordering more.

Item was once ten packs for ten dollars. I only purchase now to treat myself. These are really the best tasting instant ramen noodles!!

I’ve a loyal customer of theses ramen noodles but I don’t like the fact that they keep raising the price. They don’t worth that much. It’s fried noodles anyway. The only selling point is it’s vegan , but there are other vegan non-fries noodles that are way cheaper. I will switch to some other Ramon noodles.
