Sturdy floor stand
Nice design, holds two bath towels. Base is heavy giving it good balance and sturdiness. I wish it would come in brushed nickel. Assembly was tricky, you need a good hammer and strength.

A complete pain to assemble
I wanted a standing towel bar for a spare bathroom, as there is no room to put a towel bar on the wall.Putting this thing together wasn't fun. The corner pieces -- which are cheap plastic made to look like chrome, did not fit into the connecting parts. I was a bit concerned when the instructions showed a rubber mallet and suggested that you hit the corner pieces with a rubber mallet to get them to connect. Well, I don't have a rubber mallet and I have no plans to purchase one. I used a hammer and covered the piece with a towel. Finally, they came close to going in, but I just was over it by then and decided to return the whole thing. It did seem sturdy and it could work for someone -- just wasn't gonna work for me.

Assembly is awful, good once together
This looks good, once you get it together but it's the getting it together that's SO HARD. Whoever designed it depended on you having a rubber mallet, a lot of strength, unending ability to beat on this thing like a blacksmith, and infinite patience. The hard plastic connector pieces don't actually fit in the legs or top so you are responsible for actually beating those pieces in, shaving off pieces of the connector as you go to make it fit snuggly. It took me a REALLY long time & my back & neck really hurt now. And I actually beat on stuff with a hammer all the time - I make jewelry so I hammer metal with a hammer regularly but this was RIDICULOUS. Now that it's together, it looks good & works great. But...if you aren't up for hammering for like 30min straight (which is a long time when you're just hammering with all your might.) If you don't have a lot of power in your arm or have any physical limitations, I can see this taking lots longer so you should get someone to put it together for you & save yourself the pain I am now in. Now for some ibuprofen...

Cheap, nearly impossible to put together
This towel rack comes with little L-shaped connectors to connect the towel rack to the legs. The legs are then screwed into the base. Well, the L-shaped connectors are just slightly too big. You're supposed to use a rubber mallet to hammer them into place. That proved impossible. The paint scraped off in sharp shards that cut me when I tried to brush them away. Ultimately, one of the cheap plastic legs broke as I was trying to connect the leg to the towel rack. This thing was a huge waste of money. I trashed it before I could even use it. Stay away!
