Planet Bike Full bike fenders - 26" x 60mm (black)- Fits Up to a 50mm Wide Tire

I got these a couple of days ago and after installing them, it rained the very next day! The fenders kept rain and grime from flying up onto myself, a child seat carrier and my panniers. So far I couldn’t be happier. The install was a breeze and fit perfectly on my 26” 700c hybrid bike. They are very lightweight but feel sturdy like they should hold up for the foreseeable future.

I have a pair of 1986 Schwinn Beach Cruisers I purchased these fenders for. At my time of purchase (03-08-21) they were priced at $29.95. I am very satisfied with the fenders and would purchase again. The poly-carbonate material they are manufactured with seems to be very durable. Considering that these are a universal fit they will need to be modified for your specific bike. My particular install required the shortening of the braces that are attached to the fender that connect to the fork and rear dropout, then the adjustment of the brace length to get the perfect fit. This is easily done with a dremmel or a grinder with a metal cut off wheel or simply with a hacksaw. See pictures for more detail. The mounting hardware for the fork and rear dropouts that were supplied did not fit my bikes. I purchased the correct size from my local hardware store.

They have resisted the abuse I threw their way. Sadly, I have not really had a great chance to test them.They would have gotten better overall ratings and ease of installation except:1. Had to obtain some different hardware because not all fasteners provided worked in my application.2. Front adjusting screws stripped during loosening to facilitate adjustment.Fenders function well and look great. I would recommend.

Nice set of replacement fenders. Used on my wife’s Heybike Cityrun after I scratched up her front fender.Easy to install. Back fender harder to install and they suggest removing back tire. But with some work, can be done with tire in place.

The fenders were easy to install and adjust. I put them on my old mountain bike that I use as a commuter bike. The look great and work really well. There is not a lot of clearance, so I have had to tweak them on occasion to stop them from rubbing on the tire. I would buy these again.

These are solid, lightweight fenders, with enough hardware to fit most rim-brake bikes with old-school MTB-style tires (26"x1.95" for mine). That said, my bike has disc brakes and halfway through the install I realized that the straight-line struts would not fit around the disc-brake assembly on the wheel hub to get to the fender mount. I had to return these and get the Planet Bike Cascadia fenders instead.

Product uses very cheap materials. Screws will strip under very slight pressure, hight sliders do not hold position under maximum tightness, instructions are minimal and very confusing. Everything is very flimsy and is a very frustrating installation, and even more frustrating removal. Even attempting to save the product with zip ties was even more disappointing. Item is not worth its value and I do not recommend.

These were pretty easy to install and seem decently sturdy.
