Well I too saw those negative comments and I'm sure they had issues with the product themselves. I'm also pretty sure they did not take the time to try and fully click things in place nor did they pay attention to the arrow sticker inside the top lid that showed which end had to be UP.All that said, I ordered one anyway. Yes there are cheaper cases made for the MacBook Air. But also remember that you pay for what you get. Yes sometimes the cheaper is just fine sometimes not so much. I'm happy with this case. Yes it took a little more to get it clicked on completely but I'm good with that.As for the comment about not being able to close the case with cords plugged into the USB-C ports, well the case is not about protecting the cords. It's about protecting the computer.See the pictures that show I'm plugged in and the lid is closed. Not all the way. It lacks about a quarter inch of being able to close completely but again the case is not about protecting the cords.Buy this if you want or not. The worst that happens is you end up returning it.

This cover was of very thin plastic and it started cracking within a few months. The cracks have become more numerous and pieces have broken off despite no rough handling. Stayed in office so can only imagine if tried to travel with it. Total waste of money.

I first searched on Amazon for a durable case to use for my new macbook 2020 computer, and this one popped up. After reading some of the reviews, some of them complained about the installation process and how the case closes. I can say for myself that after buying this case, I applied it very quickly onto my laptop without any difficulty. The trick is that you must hear a click or snap noise so you know the case is fitted correctly. It took me 3 minutes to install and once finished, I was able to see all of my computers ports, extend my screen all the way back without any restriction from the case, and with the added benefit of the top corners having more protection. The top corners that protrude out as one user commented, are there because they help secure the laptop in place when closed. They fit perfectly and the best of it all is the sleek design of the case and hexagon-like pattern compliments the case very well. 100% recommend, and without a doubt this is a quality case. One of the best cases to spend your money on for a good value. I still have not tested the durability of the case when dropped, but will mention how durable it is sometime in the future.

I have bought 3 cases claiming correct dimensions and this is the only one to fit! It will definitely protect against scratches but will NOT prevent cracks (of course). You cannot see the Apple logo through the case so that might decide whether or not you buy it. The anti-slick pads aren’t super great, they fell off as soon as I put them on but I’m not too worried about that. Comes with a USB to USBC port which is super cool! The keyboard cover fits like a glove and I’m usually not a fan of them at all. I don’t think I will use the screen protector but it is super thin! A great buy!

This is easily the best case I've purchased for this computer. I take it to and from work every day and use for working on things around the house. I've burned through multiple (I think at least 3, maybe 4) other cases before this one, they always crack and/or get in the way within a week or two of use.So far I've had this one for about a month maybe two, I've lost track. No damage or cracks. No issues with it getting in the way. It does over lap when closing to protect the corners even more so. And once you put it on, I have a feeling, with it being as snug as it is, it will have to be broken to take off. So be sure you like it before you proceed to snap it into place.Fits very snug and is fairly low profile for as tough as it is.

I don't like to write a review on a protective item until it's had some time to prove itself. Now that it's been well over a year since I purchased this and put it on our MacBook Air (13 inch), I feel it's more than fair to say this laptop case is fantastic! The installation was a little tougher than previous hard shell cases I've had, but those didn't hold up with light and gentle use. This case is sturdier than any other we've had, and the protection on the corners is significantly better than anything else we've seen. For the first time in the 3+ years we've owned our MacBook Air, I dropped it when getting up from a sitting position, and I'm so glad it was in the Ibenzer case. Even though we could hear the clunk when it hit the floor, our laptop was completely fine, as was the protective case! Outstanding!

The media could not be loaded. Ill start with the pros1. it is super protective. seems like it would probably survive a drop. I don't plan on finding out though.2. it does look pretty cool.3. it has air vents on the bottom to prevent overheatingcons1. its hard as hell to get on. I thought I was going to ironically break my MacBook screen trying to snap the top cover on2. its really heavy. as the video shows, if your screen is tilted back or too far forward, the weight of the top cover will not allow the screen to stay where you placed it. this is a problem for me because I lay in bed with the computer and I have the screen leaning forward so I can see it and it doesn't stay where I want it. also I'm worried that over time it will weaken the hinge on the computer. I don't know if that's a legit possibility, but it scares me anyway.overall its ok. I didn't see any other cases that were this protective, at this price that I would trade this for. maybe just wish the top cover wasn't so heavy is all.
