Works great, also compared to my existing Samsung Evo plus
I have an Aorus motherboard and wanted to use the second M.2 slot, as the Samsung Evo Plus already installed and the couple of spare slower SATA SSDs were not enough anymore, with a single game taking 100gb easily. The size of this M.2 SSD is standard and it fitted my second slot. I didn't want to pay the extra for another Samsung Evo Plus, the reviews were great, so I decided to give it a try.I have added a picture of the benchmark comparison between the Samsung and the Sabrent drives on this review. I am super pleased, it works really well and it is basically comparable in speed. It didn't make sense to use another SATA SSD, as prices are just a bit lower but speed is like 4 times lower than a good M.2.Beware that not all drives are the same, you will find cheaper M.2 with much slower speed. Also, be aware that many motherboards (including mine) with multiple SATA ports will disable some of them when both M.2 drives are installed. It will do that automatically at first boot and it is an option that you cannot override. So if you have 4 SATA ports and you plan to use 2, use the correct ones (check the manual) and if you had more drives installed you will need to give the extra ones up. It is better always to check the manual if you are not sure.In my case it was perfect, I just had to swap the port of one of the 2 SATA SSDs and I was ready to go.Installing the drive is quite simple, but remember that the slot on the motherboard could be under the graphic card or hidden a bit by the CPU cooler depending on your mother board design. If you have no idea of what you are doing, get help from a friend that does or visit a store to get it installed. Building a PC is quite easy, but if you don't know how that works and you don't want or have time to go through the learning curve, it is better not to risk it.The only thing I cannot review is longevity, but I will surely come back to this review if the drive fails on me :)I will also report if I get any temperature issue, these things usually do get really hot. My mobo has a heat sink on each slot, but this second one is near the GPU and I believe it will exhaust hot air close to it. Any problem, I will edit the review. So far I played for a couple of days and all is good.I have already installed and moved existing games from the SATA SSDs so it is half used now.So far, I can only say I am super happy.

Great 1tb super fast storage and super value!
I got this NVMe recently when I upgraded my motherboard to ASUS B570 - the first slot is PCI4 and I got a device for that slot but wanted another for the second slot which is only PCI3 so this Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 seemed to fit the bill. There are faster and perhaps better quality (longer lasting perhaps?) drives out there - and many people prefer to turn to Samsung or the like. However, this was substantially cheaper and runs as fast as I need! Operating temperatures seem OK though I havent done any formal stress testing. It is perfect for my needs - I use it as a tempory backup from my primary drive but PLEASE always backup data in a seperate device - or use the cloud - you could well live to regret not doing so!! However, as a short term backup and a fast drive for copy paste etc it is perfect. I moved a year's worth of video files (I produce two or three a week!!) in less than a few minutes!Pete UK Bournemouth Jan 21

Fantastic value, easy to install, Acronis works perfectly a
Simple to install in the NVME slot of my laptop, Acronis was very easy to use, and 2tb is fantastic at this price for an NVME drive.I must admit to being utterly impressed with Sabrent with this Rocket Q NVME drive - 2tb on such a tiny device, and the speeds it offered are wonderful, but best of all was the customer experience of purchasing it - the small metal tin it is provided in is excellent, and the user experience registering the product and downloading and using Acronis was rather splendid. The areas in which Sabrent could improve are reasonably simple - Acronis could, in theory, offer a "reboot to cloned drive" or formatting of the UEFI partition on the original device to provide an easier way to format the original device after cloning.

Poosibly the best cheap 1TB NVME on Amazon.
Upgraded my 256GB SSD in my Computer to the Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB recently and not only is it much larger than my older NVME, it's much faster on read and write speeds.First impressions when unpacking it were positive. Being the cheaper of their range, it was nice to see it boxxed up in a metal tin and encased in foam to protect it. An unexpected premium to the cheap drive. As for performance, Windows installed within minutes from a high speed USB 3.0 drive and restoring data was only held up by the slow read speeds from my NAS.Very happy with thies. Fast boot times, fast load times (even on traditionally load heavy games) and all-round snappy performance make this a decent drive.

Great drive for the price, not good for an external drive on Mac though
I bought this and a NVMe enclosure to have a large and fast external. I have a Mac which has Windows installed on it and on the Windows partition I was getting the speed I was expecting via USB 3.2 Gen 2 (second screenshot), however when I booted into macOS I was getting significantly lower read speeds (third screen).I do have a Desktop with a smaller Samsung NVMe SSD so I swapped those round and got read speeds of over 900Mbps in macOS with that, so there's something with this SSD that macOS does not like. I tried the Sabrent Rocket Control Panel but get an error when I check for firmware updates and apparently the drive is up to date, can't say that I'm too impressed with the SW. I had read on a few reviews that Sabrent had chosen to go with 4K blocks rather than 512B, but when I checked mine was already set to 512B.So I've changed my plans and using this in my PC and the speeds are fantastic (first screen), if you're getting this drive for a Windows 10 build then you can't go wrong. Great speeds and the price for 2TB is fantastic, if Macs are involved though you probably want to look elsewhere.
