A huge bargain for the time it saves!
I am flabbergasted how well this little vacuum worked in my inflatable hot tub. Its very easy to assemble and you just pop the little basket out of the broom to empty it. It was worth every penny. I was finished in about three minutes.

Way better than I expected it to work
Worked better than I'd hoped. I have a hot tub and something got in it like paper or something and left tiny bits of dissolving tissue like paper in the bottom. When they'd get into the filter they'd coat the salt system cartridge and it wouldn't free up the chlorine like it should. I was going to have to drain and refill the tub. This was a kind of hail Mary attempt and I didn't really expect it to work -- but it did. It quickly sucked up the debris and kept it in the little mesh filter. I was done in 15 minutes. I'll have to keep going back each day for any remaining bits that got in the pipes and and I'll wash the filters tomorrow but I think this is a solved problem.

Cleans my hot tub with ease
I purchased this for my hot tub. It works very well. Sometimes it can be annoying to turn it off because you have to rotate the base and it’s hard, but it works well otherwise

Great idea, very poor implementation
I have a gunite pool with a small "spa" section that is always hard to clean because it doesn't have it's own skimmer and it is too small for my automatic pool cleaner. So I would typically manually vacuum it once in a while to pick up small debris from the bottom which works very well of course, but takes some time and requires vacuum hook-up and big vacuum head is hard to maneuver in a small spa area. I loved the idea of having this broom tool to easily and quickly pick up the sand and small debris without hooking up my hose so I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. Once thing I have to say - I had no issues with turning it on or off as other mentioned in the reviews, it was easy and worked just fine. But I was so disappointed in the performance of this tool that it had to go back (thank you Amazon for your customer service and return policy). I read the instructions, loaded the broom with fresh batteries, and ventured outside to start my new life with easy spa maintenance. Well, my dreams were quickly shuttered. The tool's sucking power is very small. Granted, I did not expect Dyson performance for 40 dollars and from a few batteries; but I was expecting it to be able to pick small debris, sand, and silt. Instead, it did not have enough power to suck in small debris (small leaves, tiny sticks, etc.) and the supplied bag's mesh was not fine enough to collect sand and silt and I could clearly see the cloud coming from the "gills" right back into the water. I stopped it and made sure that it is assembled correctly and the net is snapped in its place properly (trust me, it is no rocket science) and tried again with the same result. I used the tool for about an hour which basically just gave me cloudy water and after the dust settled back on the bottom I switched right back to my old plan "B" which is vacuuming it with a hose. I took the broom apart and cleaned it per instructions, dried it, and put it back together disappointed. Couple of days later I decided to give it a second chance. Same result but now on top of the broom just scattering the dust around my pool I could also hear some weird noise coming from the motor which leads me to believe that the unit would not last more then a few months. I know that there are more powerful models of this broom made by the same company but after this experience I am afraid to try. Will look for other alternatives.

Minimal debris only and due to lack of extension pole, very small spas only.
There are pros and cons to this product; ultimately, I believe it has very limited use.I believe the description of the product should be much better than it currently is written. If the proper expectations are created by the product description, this can be a very good product. As currently written, I suspect many customers will be hugely disappointed.I bought this product for my spa, which is 7’ x 7’ x 4’; holds about 500 gallons of water. Additionally, my spa is in an area that gets very little debris from trees, blooming plants, flowers, etc. Aside from minimal surface debris where I use a tiny hand-held fish net to capture, the only real debris my spa receives is minor sand/pebbles. For a spa that is about my size, and perhaps a bit larger (such as an Endless Pool type spa/pool) this product works great, can even use it while enjoying the spa, but it MUST be with minimal debris. If you receive more than minimal debris, don’t buy.I would not give this product even a 1-star rating for any pool (or spa) of significant size regardless of the amount of debris or any size spa or pool that has a moderate to large amount of debris from fallen leaves or whatever.Further, this product does not come with any type of extender pole, just the vacuum itself which is just under 30” in length. The seller makes mention that an extender pole can easily be found depending on needs (how long you need the extender pole to be). I have been to pool supply stores, massive sporting goods stores, Home Depot, Lowes, etc and I cannot find any extender pole that fits product. I am personally looking for a small extender pole, no more than 3’ long given the moderate size of my spa. But even with longer extender poles, none fit this product. At the very least the seller should recommend where extender poles (of various lengths) can be found or perhaps have their product linked to recommendations when deciding whether to purchase this vacuum. In summary, this product works fine spas/pools that ONLY get minimal debris but also, given the lack of extender pole options, only works well in the smallest of spas (mine is “just” 7’ x 7’ and I wouldn’t buy again) given the lack of extender pole options.
