I have been trying to find a fun looking clock to take with me on my travels and I've finally found it.The Plumeet Digital Travel Alarm Clock has a super silicon coating around the clock to keep it safe from knocks and a big screen to show you the time. It is helpful it shows the date and month but also the time you have set the alarm to ring at reminding you there's only X number of hours left before you have to get up! I bought this little clock in bright hot pink colour and at night the pink backlight is gentle on the eyes. The alarm beep is just right for an alarm clock, neither too soft nor too loud and rings long enough to get your attention.It takes 2 x AA batteries which is a bit of a snug fit and comes with an easy instruction booklet.

This clock is very sweet. It is small, chunky, lovely to handle and is very stylish. I love the colour I chose - purple. Having to supply two AA batteries was no problem because I always have a pack to hand as so many products these days need batteries. The instructions are straightforward and the clock immediately sprang into action once I'd set all the functions. The back light lasts the perfect number of seconds so that sleep is not disturbed and the alarm - once again easy to set - is loud enough and not irritating. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Bought as a first alarm clock for our child. She loves the bright colour. Have to press buttons on the back rather than top to stop alarm (snooze only on top). Fairly simple to set up and lighted screen not too bright to wake them up. Loud beeps on alarm.

Handy little clock that sits in the loo.

This is a review of the "Plumeet Easy Setting Digital Travel Alarm Clock with Snooze, Soft Nightlight, Large Display Time & Month & Date & Alarm, Ascending Sound Alarm & Handheld Sized". The only this right about this alarm clock is the size: a handful. The worst thing about this alarm clock is you cannot read it at night by glancing over. It literally is pitch black and impossible to read. There is no way around this shortcoming. The second worst thing is: if you press the 'soft nightlight' button on top it is very large and made of hard plastic and makes what I consider to be an unreasonable loud sound both when pressed and again when released and the light that is cast is very bright indeed: way way way too bright in my opinion for night time and there is no way to adjust the 'dimness' or 'brightness' as it were to rectify this. Finally, it is not an easy clock or alarm to set and if you wanted to turn off the alarm in the middle of the night you might have trouble finding the 'switch' on the back where you could easily cause yourself even more issues by accidentally resetting the time. The final issue is price. In my opinion, this is way too expensive for what it is and should be less than half the price. Even then I honestly still would not buy this clock. In the meantime, I've gone back to using my watch which actually has none of the issues and is 'free'. I would suggest most smartphone are way better alarm clocks than this and can be set and turned off easily...even by voice.

Excellent sturdy clock for my partner who can be clumsy. Good size display and only illuminated when pressed so not intrusive.

Changing the alarm and time is a hassle. The switches are stiff and stay stiff. The light is not blue, it is a white light with blue tinge.

I bought this to replace my 30 year old alarm clock, which I dropped and broke. Delivery arrived on the promised day, the day after I ordered it, even though I don't have Amazon Prime. It's a great little clock - easy to programme without even opening the instruction leaflet. I'm not the greatest with tech, so if I can do it you can! The numbers are big and easy to read. The backlight, which you switch on with a big button on top of the alarm, does not stay on for more than 5 seconds when you view the time at night. I like the soft, washable protective cover too; in case I drop it, I know it will offer protection. I bought the pink one and the pale pink glow when you do switch the backlight on is very pleasant.
