Nice In-wall amplifier
I purchased one of these to use in one of the Bathroom's in my house, so someone who was taking a shower could listen to their music list while showering or doing their makeup. The In-wall amplifier was super easy to install. I put in an extra deep electrical box, mounted the transformer in the rear of the box, added a switch to work a second pair of speakers, (Which I will probably add to the Kitchen, later), and was able to fit everything in the wall, with nothing interfering down the front of the wall or with the receptacle.I was so surprised at the amplifier, that I purchased a second one to install in one of my rooms where I have a tanning bed. The Amplifier is very strong. In the Bathroom I am only able to run it at 1/2 volume. It powers a Pyle 200 Watt dual channel waterproof speaker and the sound quality is much better than I expected. The "Bluetooth" connects every single time. I have not had a single glitch. When you power the unit on, there is a voice that says "power on" and then "your device is connected". It is a female voice that was a little bit annoying at first, but I have to tell you that I am so impressed with how well the amplifier works that I have gotten used to her. Heheheheh. The Unit works very well. It was very reasonable. I got my first one on sale, paid about $40 bucks for the second one. I bought the transformer off Amazon. Just made sure to match the power output. It cost $12 and I felt was worth it not to have a cord hanging down the front of the wall, and I found a Pyle 200 Watt Dual Channel, waterproof speaker on Amazon, $23. I paid about $5 for the extra deep add-on electrical box, so about $80 total for the entire project

We have 8 and they all work great!
I have 8 of these installed around the house. We did a reno and I was able to pull new wire and use some old wiring so I have different wire types at each location but it all works. We were also able to add some outlets in the attic which made it much easier than running the power all the way to a single large 12VDC power supply. I can confirm that running the power 50ft did work but I like having extra outlets instead.I can't comment on the quality of the sound since we also used various speaker brands depending on the room and not all have attic boxes around the speakers but so far they sound good to us and are easy to hook up to with Bluetooth. The Aux wiring in the back made it easy to pull over to the TV in each room.My only gripes are the manual which is nearly useless (hence my picture attachment). The other is that with 8 of them, they aren't all unique, I think 5 are different and the other 3 are the same ID on Bluetooth so sometimes it can hook to the wrong phone depending on who has each linked to their phones.

Bad customer service experience - Updated 3/20/2022
****UPDATE 3/20/2022: I promised that I would update this if the device lasted more than a year. It has now lasted 14 months and is still going strong. I am raising my rating to 4 stars based on the facts that it works as described and actually outlasted the warranty period.****UPDATE 1/17/2021: Pyle contacted me before Christmas and offered to replace the product without charges for shipping or requiring my credit card information. I received the replacement about a month ago and it is working fine at the moment. It is disheartening that I had to leave a negative review about the product to get the company to do the right thing but I guess that's what it takes with some companies. All in all, I like the idea and functionality of this product. I am giving it 3 stars for now based on the reliability of the product and I will increase the rating if the product actually lasts more than 1 year.****UPDATE 11/30/2020: I had to update my review based on experience with the productThis unit started failing after about 9 months after I installed it. When I turned on the power switch the "power" light would flash red and then the device would turn off. At first this was happening occasionally. Now it happens constantly and the device never turns on.I contacted Pyle for warranty support and after a few emails back and forth they confirmed that the unit was faulty and would need to be "sent in for repair". Normally I am fine with this. Package the device up, pay for shipping to the repair facility, wait a few weeks to get it shipped back. Seems normal, right? Well, not with Pyle.Pyle support sent me an email with directions for the "warranty" repair. The first thing I noticed was that they wanted me to pay shipping both ways. I have never paid both ways for shipping on a warranty repair. Most vendors require that you ship the item to them at your expense and they ship it back to you at their expense. The next thing that I noticed is that they wanted you to provide your credit card number written on their form (with all your personal information) and shipped in the return box with the defective unit to a third-party repair facility in Brooklyn New York. The form said that the credit card was for charging return shipping and "up to $60.00 for any repairs the aren't covered by warranty".This is where they lost me. First of all, I never give my credit card information on paper, in the mail, to a company that I have never heard of.The second alarm for me was that they could potentially charge my credit card up to $60 for repairs. Keep in mind that this device costs less than $50 new on Amazon. Also, if the device is covered under warranty why would they need my credit card for repairs that aren't covered by warranty. There shouldn't be any charges what so ever and they should pay return shipping. My theory is that they intentionally do this to discourage people from sending their products back for warranty repairs. They make it cheaper to purchase a replacement product than to get it repaired. This may work for some but I have chosen not to purchase any more of their products and I encourage anyone reading this review (or the many other reviews that talk about how bad this product really is) to find a different brand to buy. This is definitely not worth the money or the service that you receive from the Pyle support team.
