Pros:- Soft- Durable- Machine Washable- Reversible (so you can hold off washing it if one side gets dirty =P)- Ample filling- Paneled floor bed is a plus!Cons:- Might be too soft for some dogs (walls are very soft like the rest of the bed)- Walls of the bed are slightly low- Dogs that chew will tear through this easilyPersonal Experience:I have a 28 pound Rat Terrier (similar to a Jack Russell Terrier) and he loves this bed. Our little guy has a proclivity to find the softest surface anywhere in a room...and choose to lie down there. It doesn't matter that our home's carpet is extremely plush and soft, he still will find the random blanket or extra clothing item on the floor and choose to lie on it. When we placed the HappyCare Textiles pet bed in our room, he immediately sought to inspect it and after a few sniffs and a little pawing, he nestled himself right in it. Other pet beds often feel very cheap and have filling that is either to little, or flattens too quickly. This bed provides ample filling and is still very soft. The surface material is also very soft (similar material and feel as the plush throws used for blankets and robes). My dog also likes the grooves on the floor of the bed as it allows raised stuffing, without raising the entire floor of the bed. Lastly, the fact that this bed is reversible allows you to prolong the time between washings =).The are only a few potential issue I can see. The walls are soft like the rest of the bed so the bed does not hold as rigid of a form as some other pet beds (this could be a positive or negative). Also, because this pet bed is so soft, if your dog has a propensity to chew, this definitely pet bed likely won't last long. Lastly, the side walls are pretty low, so if your dog likes to be enclosed in a pet bed, this one will not fit the bill.Conclusion:An excellent pet bed that is comfortable, soft, provides ample filling, is reversible, and machine washable! I definitely recommend it and it's rat terrier approved!

There are three things my little 20-lb Chihuahua mix loves to do: Eat, go on walks, and sleep. I honestly believe she loves to sleep because of this bed. She measures about 17" in Length and looks sooooo comfortable and adorable when she sleeps in it. I would say that 90% of her time at home is spent on this bed. It is a bit over sized for her, but you can never have a bed that's too big. The cover isn't removable, so if you want to wash it you'll have to throw the whole thing in the washer. I haven't had to wash mine since we wrapped ours in old bed sheets. Makes it easier since we can easily remove the bed sheet and throw it in the washer/dryer. However, from what I understand, the bed holds up very well to repeated washes. The bed is reversible in the sense that the bed has two sides: One side has a warm furry layer for colder weather and the other side is smooth brown suede-like material for cooler weather. You can take a look at my photos to get a better understanding of this. Our little dog often uses the raised sides as a pillow for her head. She also likes to sleep in the corner of the bed rather than the center of it. Because of this, the sides have gotten flatter over time, but they are still raised. As it relates to durability, I bought this back in Aug 2016 and it is still holding up very well. Lastly, the rectangular non-raised center of the bed measures about 15” x 20”. The raised sides measure about 8” in height. We actually ended up buying a second bed for her and placed one in our living room and the other in our bedroom. We may even buy a third one to place in our game room. In the end, we (me, my wife, and our dog) all love this bed and highly recommend it.

Best bed made! This is the eighth bed I have bought from this company over the last few years replacing another brand of beds. All of these all still look like new and work well after several years of use. I have seven little ankle biters we rescued and they all love these beds. Don't waste money on other dog beds because these last and last. They are very easy to wash and mine has lasted through a weekly washings and never came apart. Plus, they dry so easy in a regular dryer without the need to set them out for extra drying time. They hold their shape and never bunch up or break down. I buy the medium because I have one dog that gets in bed with the others sometimes. The medium is a great size for two larger Chiweenie's but can also be enjoyed by a small Yorkie with plenty of stretching room left.

Our daughter talked us into a Shihpoo puppy. He's quite furry. I bought this thinking he would get cold since the dogs usually stay in our bedroom and as my wife calls it, "the igloo room", I'm always burning up and keep the room cooler than the rest of the house. I knew the puppy wouldn't be able to fully claim this bed as his. We have a dachshund/pekingese that believes everything is his and sure enough, the first night the puppy used it, I woke up and saw the dachshund in it with the puppy. It's very soft and plush, feels like it would be warm. It's a little bigger than I realized it would be. The puppy can sleep in one corner of it. I guess it has helped though since he now likes to cuddle up against the dachshund. I normally would buy dog beds from one of the discount stores like Ross or TJ Maxx but I really liked the color of this one and the price was roughly what I would pay at those stores.It is machine washable though we haven't tested that part yet.

Got the medium size for our blue heeled/beagle mix. It seems a little small for her but she loves it non the less, it’s great to be able to change which part of the bed she lays on as with the heat we are having she’s shedding like crazy. This being said, we have washed it a couple of times and it hasn’t lost its fluff or durability! Will buy again when the time comes!

We have 2 boxers and 2 of these beds. They seem to prefer these over the various beds we’ve tried in the past. the size is perfect for them, and they seem to like the fleecy material and having the sides to curl up against!
