Needs lots of extras
Nice beakers, conical flask and test tubes, lots of experiments but not very interesting and you have to provide lots of extra liquids and chemicals.

Really good!
I gave this to my kids, hoping they might learn something..... and they did and they loved it. Said it was like school but better! There are loads of experiments to do, but to do them all you do have to provide your own methylated spirit for the burner, which was a bit of a pain as we had to go buy some - but once we did you can do real experiments. Does need some parental help but I enjoyed it too.

Deeply Disappointing
I very rarely give low review scores but I seriously suggest avoiding this product or at the very least be very aware of what it is and what it isn’t.If you’re looking to get a youngster hooked on the wonderful world of chemistry, walk, no, run, away. There are three major problems:Firstly the experiments are incredibly dull and lack any sort of ‘wow’ that might capture a young mind and appear written for a FAR older audience. Factually correct I have no doubt, but deeply, deeply dull.Secondly. Experiments are often interlinked so if you find a rare experiment that sound interesting (let alone exciting!) then you find you also need to prepare solutions in various previous experiments before you can do this experiment. Finally the majority of the chemicals (let alone tools and accessories) needed in the experiments are not even included in the kit. So it’s off to B&Q and then to a pharmacist who looks at you as if you’re up to no good asking for sodium hydroxide. In short a complete waste of money and one deeply disappointed youngster.
