Great sound and fairly RFI resistant!
I live in an urban center surrounded by radio stations, cell towers and skyscrapers filled with W-Fi. Radio frequency inference (RFI) is a daily struggle. Poorly shielded mics, audio recorders, preamps and cables pickup static, hum and radio broadcasts, spoiling the audio track of my videos. Up to this point I’ve had no luck with a dozen different shotgun and lavalier mics I tried on my Canon EOS R6 MK II. All suffered from RFI, including a top 40 radio station so loud it sounded like a background track! I saw the closeout sale on the Movo WMX-1 2.4GHz Wireless Lavalier and figured it was worth a try for a couple Jacksons. The WMX-1 shipped quickly (direct from Movo) and was well presented in a nice travel case with cutouts for the transmitter, receiver and accessories. I popped in a freshly charged set of AAA Eneloops, snapped on the cold shoe mount and paired the transmitter and receiver. Movo’s instructions were clear: pairing and connections were duck soup! I was up and running in a few minutes.I went for a test run in my RFI infested urban center. I shot video in known RFI heavy rooms. I used the transmitter with both the included lavalier mic and a Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun mic. The Movo lav mic acted like a radio antenna and picked up local radio stations and assorted static in downtown Honolulu. It was useless. However, the Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun—a fairly well shielded designed—was clean much of the time through the WMX-1. There was RFI but less than the lav and mainly in RFI hotspots. The receiver has a hot output signal so I set input gain slightly below 25% on my R6 MK II, with levels mostly hitting -12 to -6. The result in Final Cut Pro was a strong and clean audio track.I prefer using Eneloops (rechargeable) AAA batteries over built-in batteries: no waiting to charge or sending gear to the manufacturer to replace failing batteries. Just pop in a spare set of AAA and go. My only complaint is the lack of a battery charge gauge, albeit you get a basic red LED flash when the charge is low.As expected for the price, build quality is ultra light duty and not bulletproof for pro use. For my indoor casual use it is perfectly fine. Albeit, labeling of input and outputs is small and hard to see.Although a mono lav mic, it has a TRS stereo plug. When output through the transmitter you get two equally loud mono tracks in the stereo channel (as expected). However, if you plug the lav mic directly into an audio recorder, computer or camera, the signal is panned hard left. So be aware the mic is only useful with the Movo transmitter and receiver.Great wireless system for tiny bucks: sounds good, partially RFI resistant (the lav is terrible) and easy to use. If you live in a low RFI area, or work inside a reinforced concrete building, this would be a wonderful budget wireless system. If you live near a radio station and cell towers, move along.

sound quality is awesome!
i tried for so long to find the right recording product.. what i don't like about these is that they require batteries BUT but but.. even compared to me doing this horribly complex blue yeti mic setup with all the pop filters to cover how it picked up on every breath which was expensive!this is something a well known youtuber uses and frankly they're great and obviously you can walk around with them.

Great Wireless Microphone for Video
I purchased this wireless microphone for some instructional videos that I am creating for work. The first one I purchased, the WMX-1-UL, didn't have a line out for the camera so I purchased this one as it not only has the line out but all of the cables needed to set it up. It works great! Sound is loud and clear. I only stand about 12 feet away from the camera in front of a green screen so I can't speak to recording at any distance, but so far I have no complaints.

Great clear mic.
This works really well. Although I'm not sure it works at the advertised distance. But it's rare I'll ever need to be that far.

Don’t waste your money
The receiver broke within 3 uses. The part you plug the cord into completely fell inside the receiver and now it’s useless. They will crack easily and of course like mine, it’s basically a hollow case that is poorly made.

Works great!
I use this to record content for a video announcement I produce at an elementary school. The sound quality is great, and I especially like that I can plug in headphones and hear in real time the audio. In the past, I have found out later I had no sound and had to record again.

I must say that I am disappointed.
So after doing weeks of research and watching all the reviews on this lav mic system, I must say that I am disappointed. Now let me elaborate a little. I bought this mic to help out on a project I was doing as a primary mic. No offense to Rode however I probably should have stuck to the rode video mic I was using because in plugging this movo lav into my camera I was hearing a high pitched sound over the talents audio when I played back the sound from the camera.I did not expect that at all. None of the reviews I read or watched spoke of this problem.I do love the fact the the system has a headphone jack to be able to monitor audio. My camera did not come with one so I was relying on the VU meters that are built in the camera.I may have gotten a bad/faulty product, I'm not sure. But I would not be able to recommend it to anyone. I would tell them to spend a little more money and get a different system.

Works okay
It worked ok, it drains battery really fast and it’s hard to adjust gain. I can’t always count on these lasting a whole interview. Other Movo products work well but this one isn’t one of their better ones.
