This is the second set of louvers I’ve put on my car. My first ones snapped because I didn’t install properly. They look great. I enjoy the straight across design more than the other designs out there. Now, I haven’t installed these yet, BUT these fit my back windshield like a glove. I recommend having help with installation, though. Just to make sure it’s lined up correctly. Also, I highly recommend getting 3M adhesive promoter. Whether it’s the sponges, or the solution itself; that’ll keep them on for the foreseeable future. Next, get some automotive silicone sealant. Go around the edges of the louver bases. Remember to let it dry! I give it about an hour extra than what it says. This will prevent water from potentially getting in there and causing the louvers to ultimately separate from the windshield. Take your time. It’s pretty straight forward. For the price, you really can’t beat these.

I was going back and forth between aluminum and plastic. I wound up going with plastic since it matches the plastic trim and spoiler better. I was able to install it by myself but it wasn't the easiest thing to do. I'm keeping an eye on the adhesive, waiting for signs of it coming loose. If it does I'll replace it with gorilla double sided tape. For prep I took a clay bar to it then washed with soap and water. After that I applied the adhesion promoter to where the anchors were going.Since I did this alone, I did the top two first and used them as an index for the rest. So I put all the anchors onto the louvers and took off the top two tape covers. I laid the louvers on the window and since there was only 2 to work with it was easier to adjust them a little before they were pressed down all the way. Then I took the louvers off, removed the remaining tape covers, and reinstalled it using those top 2 as an index point.The nuts that come with it are plastic, as are the washers. I'll be replacing them with metal ones and maybe lock washers. I'm finding some come unscrewed just a little bit now and then. The studs they screw onto are metal so I'm not sure why the nuts and washers are plastic.

Very happy, looks great on my scat pack. Dinging one star because the adhesive they provided was garbage. It was all dried out and not even sticky. Listen to the other reviews to get your own.

Purchased this for my daughters 2022 dodge challenger sxt for Christmas. The product is nice looking. I would agree with the other people the 3m backing tape seems not that tacky. The louver does not fit in the channel of window, top is slightly short about 1/16" off, then you work down to the bottom of window and it is off about 3/16". The holding bolts are plastic, so they bottom out or strip very easy. Louvers been on the car for a month now, no freeway driving yet only around town still looks good with no problems.

The shipment came earlier than expected but it was the wrong part. Ikon was immediate in responding and I received the right Louver the next day. Installation was a breeze. I would suggest getting additional 3M double sided tape to add to the existing adhesive tape. Most impressive was the customer service from IKON. Constant contact and updates. Thank you!

* This is an update from my original review. All in all, it looks great on my Challenger. However, just as you need to check the oil, you need to regularly check the mounts securing the louvers to your rear window. Not only do they (the mounts) disengage from the window, but since they are not made of the strongest metal, they can break easily. As far as the mounting double sided tape, the equipment that was provided by the manufacturer lasted approximately 3 weeks. Since then I have been using Gorilla tape. It has 80 pounds of grip per square inch, yet, due to what I consider a design flaw, it is not enough to keep the louvers permanently attached. There are only 8 mounting points. In my opinion, there should be a minimum of 12. The following is what I wrote soon after purchasing this item.It is IMPERATIVE that you purchase a better mounting tape than what is provided.Thankfully, I ran a double layer of double sided Gorilla Tape along the edges between the mounts that are provided.I noticed a rattling coming from the louvers and checked on them. All but two of the mounts had become unstuck from the glass of my back window. Really, the only thing saving it from flying off was the extra tape (precaution) that I had added after reading other reviews and posts.

Louver delivered today. the louver is very wavy. it looks like the plastic louver needed bodywork before they put the carbon fiber on it.it does not look good

First thing you will notice about these louvers is that they don't actually fit perfectly around the rear window. Despite not fitting around the whole window, if you just latch the louvers around the top part of the window and then center it perfectly, you will get a good result. I have purchased 3 of these louvers and each time, to get a good result, I made sure that they were perfectly centered with just two of the adhesive plates before applying the rest of them. The whole process took me about 30 minutes for each of the challengers I installed them on. While the product itself may just seem like cheap plastic made in China... it is, but this particular set is much better than another one I have tried before (much sturdier). Ultimately, the product looks really good when installed with care and actually has very strong adhesion to the rear window. Also, as I have experienced, if your louvers do arrive damaged, IKON MOTORSPORTS will show you excellent respect, and curtsy when it comes to returning and replacing your damaged item just as they have shown me. That being said there is no need to feel any risk when purchasing this product. This is a good buy for the money!
