Shea Moisture Curl Mousse Coconut and Hibiscus for Frizz Control Styling Mousse with Shea Butter 7.5 oz

This curl mousse is a game changer for my hair. It’s lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh my curls down, but still gives me great definition and frizz control. I love that it leaves my hair soft and touchable—no crunchy or sticky residue like some mousses.The coconut and hibiscus scent is absolutely gorgeous, and it lingers just enough without being overpowering. A little goes a long way, and it works beautifully whether I air-dry or diffuse my hair.My curls look bouncy and well-defined all day, and I’ve noticed less frizz even in humid weather. Definitely a must-have if you want soft, defined, and beautifully scented curls.

I oldest has tight spring curls, she hated them as it was so hard to get them under control. She stumbled upon this stuff about a year or so ago and it has helped her curls be more define, stay in place and not frizz out.She loves that it isn’t heavily scented, or that it weights her hair down.I have even started using the oil in this line for my wavy/beach wave hair and it is really great. And even that doesn’t make my hair heavy, like I found with other oils.

I thought I would give this hair mousse a try since I love their curl enhancing smoothie. I was looking for a mousse to help define my curls and prevent any frizz while working outdoors in the wind. I have pretty tight curl pattern to start with. I don’t use mousse everyday, just now and then but when I do I would use lotta body wrap me foaming mousse. I ran out and thought I would change it up. I was not impressed with this mousse. It arrived with out a lid first off but no biggie, the consistency is really liquidy, it doesn’t hold like I was hoping for, doesn’t have a strong scent, it is not sticky which was nice. I would not purchase this one again, I was unfortunately not impressed with this product.

I absolutely SWEAR by this product.I have naturally curly hair, but the curls tend to get lost in the friz and length.I tried this mousse on a whim, based soley on price and reviews.I honestly was astounded when I scrunched it into my wet hair and watched my curls tighten and come to life.I figured the effects wouldn't last long since I did it in the evening, right before bed...but I woke up to a beautiful head full of curls!The curls really last too. I have dry hair, so I only wash it every 3 days. Provided I stay away from brushing, and just comb my fingers through my hair, the curls last, even when I style my hair.In the beginning I did use a spray to set the curls further, but the spray didn't smell good and obliterated the lovely coconut scent of the mousse. Plus, I didn't actually need it.Sorry I'm ranting, but this stuff is GOOD! And you barely even feels it's there, so lightweight and natural.Couldn't recommend more!

I have large, fluffy, bouncy, insanely thick, extremely curly, crazy &#*&$! hair. This mousse is nice because it’s not crunchy. It. This is a nice product and helps encourage curls, but doesn’t tame them.I have to moisturize A LOT when using this.Here’s some other things that have helped:I use sheamoisture curly hair shampoo and conditioner. It leaves me feeling a lot cleaner and doesn’t freak out my hair.Sheamoisture curly hair mist is essentially hairspray and great for touchups after a nap or in humid weather. I keep one at home and one in my glove box.Shampoo only once every two weeks. Condition every day - leave in for at least 5 minutes, half rinse with warm water, then finish with cold.I use a lot of leave in conditioner.I use a scalp massager in the shower. It helps minimize conditioner and other product build up and keeps me clean. I always use it while my conditioner is “setting” in the shower.I started wearing satin bonnets to bed. This was by far the best decision I’ve ever made regarding my hair. I think EVERYONE should use them. It will change your life.I replaced all of my couch and bed pillow shams with satin shams. This made my life much easier.When my hair gets too dry (like when I shampoo) I work jojoba oil into it and sleep with a silk bonnet. I shower and condition the heck out of it. This helps a lot.I started drying my hair with a blow dryer. I’d always air dried before and had very few good hair days. So much better now. I only use cold air.I’ve completely stopped going to salons. I’m almost 40 and have easily gone to 50+ salons in my life. They have zero idea of what they’re doing. Thinning curly hair makes it frizzy and bushy. The products they suggest are nasty, crunchy, greasy, and gross. I use the unicorn horn cutting method at home. 5 minutes, a hair tie, some sharp scissors, and I have the best layers ever.I like sheamoisture products because they don’t try to change my hair or make it look like everyone else’s. They just enhance what I have.

Bought this about a month and a half ago, no complaints! Overall great hair product, doesn't leave hair feeling sticky like the other mouse's I've owned in the past. Keeps curls very nice for the whole day, even throughout my work shift, even though I wear a visor all day! I usually put the product in my hair while still damp and scrunch my hair up by section with my fingers and it works wonders. Not to mention it smells very nice too! Never going back to any other mouse's or curl creams!!
