We purchased this Unold Nobile 48876 at £249 having previously purchased another brand at £100 which we had sent back as noisy and slow to freeze.The Unnold Ice Cream Maker noise volume is perhaps 20% of the previous purchase, and freezes in around 33% of the time, we would guess 30 db, 30 minutes - providing ingredients are pre chilled.Volume could be compared to that of a low-speed Food mixer, not in the least intrusive, the other brand - we ended up closing the door to the kitchen and exiting.The Unold Nobile has an easy, logical, clear to read and understand Instrumentation controlling the Mix which is largely self-explanatory and makes excellent Ice Cream.And, its in nice Shiny Stainless Steel.We decided amongst the abundance of recipes out there to follow our own which was 50 units Whole Milk, 50 units Cream, 20 units of Sugar - Cane or White.
