In past I made my own Black Garlic, but I was short on time and impatient so I thought I would do something different. By comparison, the flavor and texture is different from my DIY. The Black Garlic has a softer texture and could be spread easily enough with a knife. The taste is Unami, but more toward the sweet side then the savory earthy side. The level of sweetness is in line with sauteed red onions.Great Product

I would give it five stars, except the package was smashed when it got here on my first order. But I'm going for a second order because the flavor is there.

I have written reviews on this before because we use them as a staple in our house. We all have heard the benefits of garlic, but compliance is an issue due to the strength of the garlic taste. Fermenting the bulbs not only ensures the nutrients are retained, but also makes compliance with getting those benefits and enjoyable experience. Natural sweet flavor, no heat and no strong garlic aftertaste

I like these and have a subscription to them but the last order, that I paid $35 dollars for was damaged, seal broken and product spilled. I can't return them and can't seem to contact the seller

I like how it tastes and that reputable studies indicate that black garlic retains the mineral and bioflavinoid content of garlic with lower allicin. So far I've used it to cook pasta, stewed chicken and even a walnut dessert. I've also eaten it by itself as a snack. It has the consistency of a gummy and tastes like molasses. My experience has been favorable so far.
