Simple Solutions Often Work Best
I've used many types of monitor stands over the years to try to achieve an ergonomic and attractive multiple display set up at my workstation. I've found that the sexier and more complex ones have generally been the biggest disappointments, and the simplest ones (where they at least fulfill the basic need of the moment) have been the most satisfying. These VIVO Single Monitor stands are a great example. I bought two of them. One of them is supporting a 28" landscape oriented monitor and the other a 23" portrait oriented monitor, these side-by-side.(Initial review was for the shorter stands)The stands are rock solid - what very little wobble I get with my monitors is definitely the result of having clamped these puppies to a 3/4" board that I use as my desk. The wobble gets transferred to the monitor - I am certain that these would be rock solid if clamped to a more rigid surface. So, be aware: only as solid as the surface you attach them to.The hardware itself is very beefy. The clamp to attach it to the desktop is larger and better made than I expected. As someone said in another review, these would definitely support a slightly larger monitor than the 27 inches specified. The most immediate limit is that a larger one will not sit high enough off of the desktop. If you decide to test the limits by using these with an oversized monitor, definitely buy the taller version. And, of course, the monitor must work with a 75 mm or 100 mm attachment plate. By the way, this comes with two different sized sets of screws for attachment - you are probably covered if none came with the monitor. My bigger monitor has the VESA mount holes positioned real high on the back of the cabinet. Therefore it hangs lower than I'd like. So, be aware that VIVO offers these stands in a taller version and make sure to order the one that it the right height. These are so good I am going to order a third one, but the taller version. I'll find a use for the regular height one.One thing I am impressed with: the few parts that can be moved and adjusted do so without an unreasonable amount of force, and yet they stay put without sagging under weight. You can tweak the friction to a happy medium where there is reasonable resistance to adjustment but adequate resistance to unwanted movement. That has been lacking in nearly every solution I have used until now - I normally end up having to over tighten these things.I paid significantly less than $40 for these and they work better than products that have cost me $140. Forget fancy two and three display stands - get two or three of these simple stands and mount them side-by-side. You'll save a few bucks and a lot of hassle.(Additional Info - I was so happy with the short stands, I purchased the extra tall stand as well. Construction is slightly different, but understandably a little heavier yet since it is taller. Heavier in the way that the pole attaches to the base. The taller stand has the longer arm - I did not have this on the short stands. I am absolutely happy with all three stands so far. Excellent products, shipped and received very very quickly. This vendor goes on my A list of first places to check for similar products.)

Amazing monitor/laptop arm!!!
Absolutely love this extra long monitor arm. I am using it as a laptop tray holder and it works amazing!! It doesn't tilt side to side when typing on the laptop. It is very sturdy and stays right where you put it! I have an HP 15.6 laptop and it holds it very well! Other arms that I have tried doesn't come anywhere close to this one. I definitely recommend this arm!!

All VIVO products aren't the same unfortunately. The attachment is meh.
I bought some white regular (shorter) armed versions of this. I actually felt they were fantastic. They look great and functioned well. However, they were just too short. I couldn't get them to reach far enough. So I bought this one. It only came in black, but it did the job. The biggest unfortunate issue with this one compared to the other ones is the vesa attachment onto the back of the monitor. The original white ones had a plate, where you attach it, then you slide it on to the arm. This doesn't have that. You have to attach the entire arm onto the monitor, then lift the monitor and arm together onto the pole. Much more inconvenient. The plate version is SOOO much easier.

Secure, no sag, stays in place, easy to reposition
Installed on a side table. Due to the frame of table, the clamp could not mount securely. Simple modification - placed a block of wood on top and bottom of the table where the clamp attached. Works great, very secure. Supports 36" monitor with no sag, arm swings smoothly, it is easy to reposition and it stays in place without locking. Works great when a second screen is needed for laptop work, easy to push aside and out of the way when finished.

Very solid mount
Good build quality, very sturdy once you have it properly clamped. I originally tried to clamp it on a smallish table edge, but neglected to take into sufficient account the tipping force with a monitor mounted on the end of the arm projecting to the side of the table. (This wouldn't be a problem on a regular desk or heavier table with the arm positioned over it.) I really appreciate having the reach of the longer horizontal arm. The joints in the arm are very tight, and difficult to loosen without stripping the bolt heads.

Excellent monitor mount
This mount has worked great for my 32” monitor. Needed a mount that would hold my monitor near the corner of desk and already had other items on the desktop that prevented traditional mounts from working. The extended arm on this mount saved the day and makes my desk less cluttered. Well built and provides a sturdier mount than the stand that came with the monitor.

Great product, cheaply made synergy
You know you've got a great product when there is no sign of branding on its body - a company that knows they've done something right, and do not need to advertise it.Everything about this product is cheap and simple, but it is how Vivo has brought it all together that makes the product look and feel above the $30 price tag.I'm very happy with the product which has perfectly lifted my Dell U2414H 24-Inch monitor, correcting the viewing config to a comfortable height while freeing up valuable workspace. The only improvement I would like to see is a more compact clamp, moving away from an ellipse clamp to a smaller circle. It just so happens the standing desk I was clamping onto had a spline that prevented the mount to be clamped flush, and a smaller circular end on the clamp would have solved this - minor.

Very sturdy once installed...but screw strips easily
Exceptionally sturdy monitor arm. Swings and rotates easily. I bought 8 of these and have one minor complaint. The way the base plate for grommet mount and the vertical pole go together should be improved. It's reasonably sturdy, but would be better if the baseplate is actually screwed into the pole rather than just sits on top. That will make it more sturdy and easier to install.Edit: After installing 8 of these I managed to break one...The screw that holds the arm to the vertical pole will strip and break if tightened too much
