Picture is great. The HDMI board is pretty awesome too. Doesn't include a case. As long as you're ok with building your own case, it's awesome.There are a few things to note. The HDMI input defaulted to a 16:9 signal (1080P) and stretches it to fit the 4:3 display, so it will be a little distorted. There is a full size HDMI port and a mini HDMI port, you can select input using the menu button board.

Worked like a charm with the right power supply. Using this with my MiSTer for a crisp screen for retro games.

*EDIT* - support reached out to me a few months later. The ad language has been corrected to mention that 5V USB power (even with a quality 3A supply) is just not enough to power this screen properly through this driver board. Originally it stated that 5V 2A would have worked. That's fantastic, as I was able to adapt my project to using 12V DC, but without the wording being changed, others might run into similar issues. I also received a partial refund for the damage on my screen due to rough handling. Upgraded to 4 stars from 2 stars as a result, as I appreciate support, even if it's late! One note, is that the driver board has menu options for adjusting screen ratio; this doesn't do anything.*ORIGINAL REVIEW*Received the item and all mounting tabs were bent and misshapen on the LCD. Thankfully, no damage apparent to the screen front. Tried powering with a 3A 5V USB plug, and the driver board would not power up. All flex cables were connected correctly, with blue facing up. Eventually tried powering through the DC connector, and so far, so good. Initially emailed about my problem and was asked to send some photos/video of the issue. Did so, with no response. I probably should have acted faster to return it as it's clear that the QA on these isn't great, but as long as it continues to work through the DC plug then I'm alright with it.

Good if you need a specific screen in a pinch, but please note that these have been previously used / pulled from a system and thus your mileage may vary. This is obvious if you examine the underside of the screen (stickers on the bottom) as well as the screw mounts are bent, showing they've been pulled from something.I would strongly recommend you test these out before the return window closes, as this one that i purchased works, but has a flickering problem.

Purchased the display and recommended power adapter from same vendor. Connected as shown and is completely non-functional - no signs of power, board isn't even detected by computer. I wouldn't normally leave a review without further troubleshooting, but the kicker is that the display arrived visibly damaged (all mounting points bent, had to have been done prior to packaging), and the instructions (of course in hooooorrrrrrible english and mostly referring to components that don't apply to this model) say to contact support with no contact information provided. The display itself is an iPad display and if you get a good one should be OK, but there was clearly no care or QA taken in the packaging and delivering of this product.

Full size HDMI port did not ever work for me mini HDMI port worked fine though and I had the right cable so it didn't really get in my way.Otherwise works entirely as expected looks really good when using the special video mode on MiSTer.
