KidKraft Emily Wooden Dollhouse with 10 Accessories Included, for 12" Dolls, Gift for Ages 3+

1.) When I purchased no previous reviews incl. pictures which is why I felt it necessary to do so many. Overall, took less than an hour to assemble. Decor is mid-century modern style and price point is great. The back is completely white so be aware of that, but a wall mount is included to hang it if preferred. 2.) Ships flat packed, with simple labels for manual and hardware. 3.) Listing says for 12 inch dolls, which is the size mine are, but I decided to do plush instead (which are a little wider) and I think Barbie type dolls would fit just fine. 4.) Didn't like the company logo on the roof, so I flipped it upside down (which covered it by the underwalls) and I think it looks great. 5.) Accessories. Dollhouse comes with the 10 pieces shown in the pictures. All the furniture is easy to put together (table & bed) and very good quality. I think that the felt plant and deck chair are also a super sweet touch. 6.) Embellishments. I purchased the "deck" (4 pallets) at the Dollar Tree, the orange tree at Target (sale for 50 cents!), and the 3 white potted plants from IKEA (set of 3 for $4.99). I also purchased a 5ft LED fairy light string for $9.89 at Michael's (sale %40 off) to string from each ceiling. We had a giant Kidkraft dollhouse mansion and it was too large. The girls stopped playing with it and it just took up a ton of room. I searched high and low for a two story only barbie house that was relatively small. There were only two options I could find (aside from Mattel plastic foldable houses that cost twice as much) so I settled on this. We love it as it’s manageable in size and the girls can still play with their barbies in it. Easy to put together. We set it on top of a cubbie shelf so that two baskets can fit underneath it to hold all the dolls and Accessories. We also bought it “used” only paying $40 as it was marked with a damaged box and it was brand new in perfect shape which made us even happier having paid a fraction of the cost!

This was a gift for my daughter for Christmas from Santa, and I had to assemble it on Christmas Eve because it's so big I couldn't hide it easily.I got it out together in a little over an hour. The instructions are pretty clear. My only gripes are one floor piece wasn't cut properly, so it sticks out in back and a wall is bowed. Some of the screws seemed mismatched too, even though there were spares. Neither are deal breakers for me. If I'd assembled it further in advance, I could have easily fixed the floor piece with a couple of passes through the table saw.The bottom line: it's very well done, despite any flaws, was a great value, fairly easy to assemble, and my kiddo loves it. If you're not handy, get a friend to help. There are a couple places where it's awkward for one person. It's definitely takes two people to move it. Also, an electric screwdriver is super helpful.

This dollhouse is great, perfect for standard 12" dolls. The quality is great especially considering the price, you will likely not find a wooden one this size that is cheaper. The accessories also are super cute, I wish Kidkraft sold more accessories separately! My daughter loves it.

The "Emily" dollhouse is a fun piece and my five year old loves it. I'm a pretty handy guy and it took about a half hour to put this dollhouse together with nothing more than a screwdriver. It also comes with a few extra screws, so don't be concerned when you realize that there's a few left over. Also note that the house is sturdy enough, does not wobble and does not have any sharp edges or loose paint. Standard sized Barbie dolls are a perfect match for this dollhouse and so you can't go wrong getting your own precious doll a few more. I definitely recommend this product.

This dollhouse is the hot ticket!! It took me about an hour to assemble. Relatively easy! It’s sturdy too! As you can see, it’s got a gorgeous design, and my 3 year old LOVES it! Trust me.. If you’re in the market for one, get this one!

My daughter loves it. It's the perfect size, not to big or small. Great for space saving. It was a bit difficult to assemble at first but we got it. Very sturdy and looks amazing. Great buy.
