Quality product that does what it is supposed to do.
Deliver was quick. This product worked very well for installing my deck cable rail system. I particularly like the in-line design of the press - other tools have an offset press design and I was wary of breakage with those. The hardware seems to be high quality and provides great power for crimping.

The Crimpers work Great.
I found the system to work great. I would suggest that you create a template to mark all of the posts with the drill. When working through multiple posts that you use the drill to install the Swage Lag Screws leaving 3/4" threads showing. Cut the cable 2" short instead of the 1-1/2" so that you have threads left for future tightening. Install all of the protective sleeves so that they can be fully recessed with hammer. Installed the cable in one post completely so that you can easily pull the cable out of the crimper without having to open it up.

Light use crimper for small projects
I was kind of surprised that this crimper only comes with one set of dies. It fits my main cable railing size, but there's no room to move to any different sizes. It works ok, if a little bit clunky. The case is low quality blow molded plastic. It's not a cutter and didn't come with a cable cutter. I have one from a previous purchase, so it wasn't an issue, but if you're just getting into cabling you'll need a dedicated cutter. It's pretty easy to use. The hydraulic method being much easier to crimp than the ones that are like bolt cutters and do it all in a single press. That takes lots of muscling. An ok value for a tool that will only last a project or two.

Complete Piece of Garbage
The first one I got was broken out of the box but must have slipped through QA. I called the customer service phone number and had a free replacement less than a week later. The replacement functioned as advertised (or so I thought). I've only used it a handful of times but so far it's working well.Update: I used it again and it stopped working. The customer service is great but that doesn’t make up for the price of trash that this product is. I will never be purchasing from this company again and I will strongly recommend everyone I know to stay away. This stopped working on the job for no reason and cost me several hours that I did not have. I’ve never been so upset, so dissatisfied, so disappointed in a product i purchased from Amazon.

Don’t over force the tool
This tool worked great for meFirst Tip - Make sure pin is fully inserted, if notyou could easily damage the toolSecond Tip - Don’t over force the tool, it’s a hydraulic press, stop when resistance is firmThird Tip - If you can’t find the stabilizer make one from a plumbing riser clamp using the clamp, carriage bolts, nuts and washers

Crimper is great, cutter is utterly worthless
I love the case and the crimper, but the cutter they include is in now way suitable for 3/16” stainless cable. You will almost break your hands trying to get them to cut. I’ve only attempted 1 cut and I can’t imagine with a little use and dulling of the blades how utterly worthless these will be. Having purchased thousands of dollars in products from this company for our new deck, this, so far, has been my only complaint. Larger jaws and larger handles for more leverage would likely solve this. Now I’m going to have to spend more money to get some that will work. Ugh. Crimper is 5 stars, cutter zero stars.

Could not make cable rail without it
This worked perfectly to crimp the Miata fittings onto the 1/8” stainless steel cable. Kind of expensive but a good investment to complete the job.
