Need a couple of hands to get it together but easy to do
Packaged well. Need a couple of hands to get it together but easy to do. Would probably firm it up with some decorative angle brackets. Overall very nice and would recommend.

One of the finest quality products you will ever purchase
One of the finest quality products you will ever purchase. Probably the clearest assembly instructions I have ever seen. The hardest part was digging the footings. Took 4 experienced men a day to erect. Started at 8am, dug footings, added cement for the 4x4 posts and then started. Probably would have doubled the amount of cement from 4 bags to 8 bags - 2 per hole. Use Quickcrete red bag, sets in 45 minutes. Entire project was complete at 6:30 that night and this included cutting brick pavers. Manhattans served at 7pm under the new pergola.High quality product and absolutely no cutting. Remember the old adage - "start square and end square".

Be aware of the winds in your area!
We bought this pergola and it wasn't too difficult to put together, but I wouldn't say it was easy either. We anchored it onto our existing cement slab patio according to their directions exactly, and it looked wonderful and seemed very sound. Unfortunately, in early December, we had four very brutally windy days in a row with sustained winds in excess of 35mph, more like 50mph. This caused the pergola to sway and bend almost all the way over, pulled up some of the anchoring system and ruined the vinyl, busted and non-repairable. We had to take it down for fear of it damaging the house and windows. I think the pergola was not the problem, but the anchoring system the company said to use was not strong enough to secure the pergola. If you live in an area that receives a lot of wind, I would use a much stronger anchoring system, and I would also suggest moving the four columns a bit closer together to give the heavy 2x6 top a bit more support.

this is the best and biggest out there
I took me and my wife two day and it turned out great just wish I knew about the new pole items I could have got but cant do it now due to the build done. This is a great pergola just remember this thing is huge. you will spent about another hundred or so on Wood supports but its worth it. My wife and I waited two years to get this and it turned out great wish I could add a photo to the review.

$200 worth of extra crud to build this thing...and that's if you have a nice neighbor to help
Having to buy $200 worth of extra stuff to assemble this thing is absurd after the amount paid. I wish I knew this before purchasing itWhat they dont tell you....(4) 4x4 posts(8) 2x6x12's(4) concrete post brackets at $18 a piecetapcon screws ( i had a few in the garage but not countersunk, which is what the directions say.)I'm literally about to return this and build my own after finding this out. so disappointing...I hope this helps a consumer who, like me, did not see any of this info in the product description

Love IT
I purchased this two years ago and it still looks great! I love how it adds a more finished look on my patio. I've always wanted a pergola and this worked out great. I priced many and this was the most economical one for me other than building a custom one. Keep in mind that you must purchase the wood that goes into the vinyl. That obviously added to the cost as well as purchasing the anchors I needed to drill into the cement patio. This year I purchased the shades that get weaved through the top. That was a much needed addition for me since I get full sun on my patio.

Good quality product
Good quality materials and easy to put together. You will need to purchase 4 - 4x4x8 and 8 - 2x6x12 as well as 4 brackets to mount 4x4 to the concrete. You will also need 1/4" × 2-1/2" tapcon screws. Tools needed will be a saw to cut the 4x4 to 7'. You do not need to cut the 2x6 to specifically 12'. You will need a hammer drill and 3 - 4 concrete bits if installing on concrete. You will need at least 1 person to help with installation. Time required to install was about 8 hours.
