Love the shape, the color and the hair :p. I use it to blend my concealer. In the picture you'll see my cell phone and my hair bun for you to compair the size. Very good quality.

Not good for foundation, bristles r too long and stiff

The bristles are too synthetic feeling and does not spread my cover up evenly. You end up with brush strokes on your face. I do like the shape of the brush but just wish the bristles were finer and perhaps shorter. I've liked their other brushes so maybe this one is just a miss.

I was so sad about this series. I wanted to like them and buy them ALL. I got a great price for this and the 3 brush set. Alas the real techniques quality is just different for this metals series. I had to return them. The design is gorgeous. I love the tapered shape, long handles, the colors, and their weight. The triangle shape of this brush is also good for application and blending. However I could not for the life of me use these brushes. The bristles are way too stiff. It felt literally painful to touch these brushes to my skin. When moving it across my face, I felt my skin dragging. When tapping or blending using the tip, depending on the kind of application it was either like being tapped with something hard or the bristles felt like tiny little stabs. I just couldn't blend makeup because it literally hurt to do so, especially in sensitive areas like around eyes.Two stars for the design/beauty. But I couldn't make these work for me. Sometimes beauty requires pain but when it comes to makeup brushes, there are alternatives (even from RT themselves) that don't hurt my face. These beauties are sadly not for me. They may work for others but I recommend trying to touch/test these brushes in person before buying.

Used this with my new Anastasia stick foundation and it worked so much better than the current brush I'm using.

I was most excited about this brush when the line debuted, so even after reading many reviews, I bought it anyway. Sadly, they're mostly true. The brush is gorgeous, and apply foundation and concealer well. However the bristles are a different fiber than that of the others from the Bold Metals Collection. They look and feel like the fibers used in a nylon paint brush: shiny, plasticky, and on the firmer side. Perhaps this is to achieve the firm edges that are signature to this brush. They didn't scratch my face during application, but they definitely weren't as soft on my skin as the other collection brushes. Also, after the first use, I washed the brush to remove my foundation and all of the pigment didn't wash out. 😑 Now my beautiful brush hairs have a warm brown tint where they used to fade from gold to white. (I'm a Mac NW45)Positively no shedding with this brush and I don't expect any in the future.Picture is of brush after washing

Amazing brush. Does not streak or leave lines. Has a triangular shape which easily reaches areas between the nose and eyes and excellent for blending concealer.

Another brush at another stupidly expensive price.Daughter loves it. I therefore have to say it is wonderful. I'd prefer to write an essay on how vastly over-priced these pieces of rubbish are, but I can't because she'll never speak to me again. So there, you get 5 stars even though I think you sell these things at extortionate prices.
