A genuine quantum leap in occult practice and research.
It is hard to overstate the importance of this work. Not only is it a timely, erudite, well researched and highly accessible book, but it is also rooted in a lifetime of hard won experience. As an occult practitioner myself having been through the system of grades of various orders and having left all that behind in favour of a more autodidactic approach, Nathaniel's words and thoughts shone through like the rays of a light in the darkness. Theta neuromancy could well be the game changer that was prematurely heralded by the magical revival of the 60's through the "chaos magic" of the 70's and 80's to the present dystopian world technocracy. Nothing is left out, and the author is transparent and honest with his sources, drawing from such diverse wellsprings as Kabbalah, ancient African tradition and it's diaspora including Voodoo and it's various cultural relatives, Runic tradition and even the latest black budget government psychic research. Despite containing a corpus of workings that are ready for use, the Neuronomicon is so much more than just a magical cookbook. Ignore this great leap in occult studies at your peril.

Excellent work that pushes the boundaries and understanding of magic forward dramatically
This book is a excellent resource to anyone on the magical / mystic path. It's a must read for anyone contemplating joining a magical order or group. It explains the pitfalls that await such a venture and leads the reader to understand that in many ways it's simply unwise and often dangerous to do so. Nathaniel Harris is to commended for his untiring work at illuminating the more shady corners of the occult world so that innocent seekers can steer a path away from such unscrupelous groups.

Excellent book from a learned teacher
I am not experienced or knowledgable of magic, but became interesting in Nathaniel's perspective after discovering his youtube videos. This work is extremely insightful and has provided me with a comprehensive (though ideosyncratic) understanding of many, many different areas of occultist and magical thought over thousands of years.Nathaniel isn't the most well known figures in contemporary occultism but he perhaps should be, and maybe in the coming years he will be.

Well written, concise and strangely accessible considering the depth of information.
Well written, concise and strangely accessible, considering the depth of information. Nathaniel has written excellent chapters on occult fundamentals (meditation, ritual, divination, tarot, I-ching, runes etc) whilst weaving in a brand new theory involving resonance, cryptochromes and the biofield. Exciting stuff! Nathanial is a good man with honest intentions. Recommended.

A New Age Sorceror's Primer
This is a primer on about 70 parts of modern occult / magick. Each part, eg. "Runes", "Chakras", "Kabala" gets a description of what it is, a history or source, and says what its hardcore adherents believe, and how that ties in with current science. It gets straight to the point, and goes into depth on many of them. Another section gives rituals. It is very easy to open on any page (and then go to the internet for more). I would say this is valuable for anyone on a generalised occult path in the 2000s. So rather than call it witchcraft (old fashioned, or too neopagan-based?) he terms it "sorcery" and by extension, you are a sorceror. A lot of New Age ideas are treated as valuable developments, and without missing a beat he ranges from Meditation to Numerology and Tarot, to spirits and egregores, adding scientific insight, with notable omissions in what the author may consider to be nonsense. It is worth saying that this is not Chaos Magic (which he dismisses on p.178).

Brilliant book!
Love the books! I am very pleased with the content, I definitely feel I have a more solid grounding in the occult through comparing similarities and learning new concepts. I have found other books so far to be confusing and fail to give solid reasons for the use of certain practices, whereas this book entails sound reasoning, often with scientific backing, for their use. Please ignore the hate that Nathaniel Harris encounters, it's mostly from peeved magicians who he outed for unscrupulous practices. This has been much to Harris' own detriment and I respect the integrity of his actions.

Great work!
Devoured in one sittingWise and well written. Nathanial is a master of his artes. Much better than anything I’ve read by Crowley on the subject and a welcome development from the post modern, adolescent posturings of the chaos movement. Love is the law. Do as thou wilt
