The media could not be loaded. I have to give five stars and I’m grateful for the other reviews here. Before purchasing, I read that the 20’ strips were brighter than the 40’, so like others I bought two 20’. I also read that the blue backing tends to peel off with the adhesive, so I was able to avoid that. I ended up threading the strips like a ladder inside a set of acrylic shelves and securing the top inner corners of each shelf with an extra piece of double sided tape.The lights are bright and dim well. The choice of warm and cold is great and the mix of the two is quite nice. The remotes are also nice. Since I bought two strips, I paired each remote so they operate both. That is a wonderful feature. I’ll probably buy more of these. I hope they last. Images and video attached… probably.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased based on other reviews. Very happy with this. Installation was very easy, all parts were there and everything went together easily. Put one 12' strip in first. Wasn't bright enough, so I laid down a second strip right next to it and it was bright enough. You must cut this strip at the designated cut points. If you make a cut between those points, the remaining portion beyond the last cut point will not illuminate. Not a big deal if you know about it beforehand. The remote functions just exactly how it needs to. If powered from a light switch, the lighting will power up in the last condition it was in when you turned the light switch off. No need to "re-start" the lighting with the remote. Very handy.Overall, very happy with these lights.

This light strip uses two different color temperature white LED set in pairs about 1.75cm (3/4") from center-to-center of the pairs, so they are fairly closely spaced. White color temperature is adjusted from about 3K-6K Kelvin by increasing or decreasing the relative intensity of the two LEDs in each pair. One LED in each pair is actually a 3K (yellowish) Kelvin LED and the other LED is a 6K Kelvin LED (blueish). I was afraid the strip would look like a string of yellow and blue LEDs, but in reality the color temperature control works very well and gives a very good rendition of various color temperatures between the two extremes, and it's fairly hard to see "yellow" or "blue" when you look at the strip directly (though a discerning eye will pick up the slight differences in color temperature between the two LEDs.The remote is actually of pretty amazing quality considering the price of this set. Where most of these LED strip comes with one of these very cheap remotes with a multitude of bubble buttons (not really buttons, just a bubble in the plastic) that sometimes work and sometimes don't, and almost always fail over time, this remote looks and feels remarkably like a Roku or Amazon Fire-stick remote. There are real soft-touch buttons. The buttons are well thought out and allow easy customization of the light strip without tons of redundant or needless buttons.A nice feature is the light strip has a memory and turns on with the settings in place when it was last turned off.The strip is attached to a clean smooth surface (such as that under a kitchen cabinet) and the adhesive seems to be fairly good. I've only had my strip installed for about two weeks, but there is no sign of them beginning to peel away from the under cabinet surface.I used this strip under cabinet in my officer where I have a couple of 3D printers, several photo printers, a microscope, etc. all of which needed more light to work with. They are working out perfectly and my wife already wants me to install more under our cabinets in the kitchen. I plan to wait another few weeks to see if they continue to work properly, but assuming they do, I plan to buy at least two more sets.

I cannot talk about longevity, but I am very happy with this light set. We have a foyer closet that the builder saw fit to install an outlet, but not a light... This light string sticks well to the inner door frame (after cleaning painted surface with alcohol) and covers from one side to the other completely. The amount of light and color options (cool to warm) are perfect. I used sticky backed hook & loop to stick the remote control to the inside of door frame, so it is easy to turn on and off. This is not a motion sensor string, but I did not need that. It was so easy to install and I am pleased with the value, so far. I also like that this is connected to an outlet, instead of requiring batteries. It fits my needs and we will see if it has a long lifespan.

Can't tell you how thrilled I am with this product! My husband and I are getting older and we have stairs in our home. We've both taken mini temples down our stairs. So I decided to get some lights going up the stairs so we could both see. They were so easy to install. They look beautiful. They help us see the stairs so neither one of us misses a step. I highly recommend this product. I set mine to warm and it is a beautiful Warm Glow making the house feel soft and inviting. I would definitely buy another set for underneath the kitchen cabinets.

Purchased these for use as under cabinet lighting. I originally installed a much cheaper set of lights and we did not like how they worked. The originals were not very bright even after tripling them up and when set to white they were closer to blue. Decided to rip those out and install these which is a significant improvement. While not RGB they are great for my use. The color tone is adjustable and on full cool setting the color is still white. Compared to the cheaper strip lights there are many more led's and they are much closer together which gives a bright even lighting. The included remote control is also much better. It is not a membrane remote and instead has real buttons. Since the remote works by RF instead of IR you do not have to have a visible IR receiver which is a much cleaner look. Very happy with these lights.
