Don't Buy! Junk!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I put them up in my cupboard. It says to let them sit for 24 hours, so I let them sit for the weekend, since we were gone anyways. They started falling off after 3 months. We would hear a loud noise from the kitchen and we found out they did not hold the lids. Even the small lid fell over. Highly disappointed!

lid organizers
Did not stay on the wall very well, sturdiness was great and easy to assemble

Lid holder
Works fine for smaller lids which are lighter. Adhesive fails with heavier lid.

Opens space and stays put!
These were soooo easy to put in and gave me space again under the stove! I used the lighter weight mounts for all but the larger lids which are heavier....I used others designed for them. They get used ALL the time opening and closing the doors several times/day. Everything is still as tight as when first installed. The doors they're mounted on are stained with a clear poly which I was concerned would cause them to slip, but NO issues! An architect friend of mine wanted to know where to get them so he could recommend them to clients!

Don't buy these
Like most of us here, we're trying to organize the mess in the cabinet. These are not what you need. The adhesive is not strong, even after following the directions and cleaning off the cabinet door beforehand ect. Perhaps if you get more industrial strength adhesive it could work. The other problem with these are, you can only use them for flat lids. Of your lid for your pot has any sort of lip, these will not work. Also, if your lid is heavy, glass or steel it will rip off the adhesive because the top part of the lid is not supported so the lid is leaning forward just a bit, but after awhile it becomes too much.If your lid actually does fit!! Hooray! But not for long, due to the snug fit that is required for the lid to stay, the constant moving to and from will make the adhesive weak. All in all, terrible buy, not a great value, and not sturdy,

A great way to organize your lids (if they aren't too big)
These lid holders work great as designed. My collection of Caphalon lids used to migrate around behind the pots. These holders allowed me to organize them to take up less space and be more available.Follow the instructions, clean the surface where you are going to mount them, let it dry throughly, draw a guideline (blue pencil works great) that is level and mount the holders. Let the adhesive cure for 24 hours. Easy. If you worry about adhesive failure or have extra heavy lids, run a couple of small wood screws through the holder.Don't put a lid that's too large in the holder, it will fall out. What's too large? If the lid doesn't fit all the way into the holder and instead just rests on the top edge, it's too large. What won't work? Lids that are deeper than the inch or so depth of the holder. In general, if it looks precarious, it'll likely fall out.

Pan Lid Holders OK
In regards to adhesion, sturdiness and installation these pan lid holders rate high, but they really don't hold the lids very well. They only hold my small and medium sized lids and really not very well. I often open the cabinet and the lids fall out. They are too small to hold large lids! If I were to order again, I would look for lid holders of different sizes and maybe a different design.
