Oh Yum! I had these as a child in England.
I was a little reluctant to buy these Turkish Delights because I remembered that they were big and soft; I don't like soft candy, but I love firm chewy candy. Well, I got them in the mail and opened the box (which didn't match the picture, as the other reviewer noted), but the picture is not what I'm after! These Turkish Delights are cut into 1x1" cubes and they are perfect for just popping in your mouth. The sweet Rose flavor doesn't hit you at first, but then it gets stronger and smoother the more you chew. They are very firm and, boy, do you have to chew, since these have those lucious nuts in them. I am so pleased with these Turkish Delights that I've got to buy more, for my whole family! The only things I might comment on are: there are not very many nuts in the candies, no where close to what the picture shows, but they are very lovely candies anyway, and I hope these are stocked forever -- without the hugh hikes in prices I've been seeing.

Hazer Baba Turkish Delight
I bought Galil Almond TD and Hazer Baba Pistachio TD in the same order to compare. The boxes are similar, but the Hazer is cheaper. I like both, but prefer the Galil brand. The Hazer Baba was softer and mushier and the aliquot of nuts is skimpier, certainly than the picture on the front of the box. Still it's good and will be gone too soon.

Misleading Product Packaging
These do taste good. However, the picture promises a sweet full of nuts in every bite. The reality is that the manufacturer skimps on the nuts with some pieces having no nuts or one tiny sliver. That's misleading. Plus you can't see which is which until you bite into it, there's so much powdered sugar.Still good, but could be excellent.

Too much sugar
I have been in LOVE with Turkish Delight ever since spending a month in Turkey a couple years ago. So I'm always on the lookout for good stuff. But this is just caked in powdered sugar - so much so, that I have to shake, pinch, and scrape off the excess. After all that effort, I still can't taste the delight under all that confectioner's sugar :(

Fresh, tasty, and good quality
I have sampled turkish delight all over Turkey and this is among the best I've had. I was surprised that the candy is VERY fresh, and also delicious; it is nearly (admittedly not quite!) as good as the Mustafa Hafiz brand, for example, which was my favorite in Istanbul. For the price (less than $5 a box), you really can't beat this, especially given the high quality. Also, you can give this candy to vegans and vegetarians because the Turks typically don't use animal products in their candy (like gelatin)---Hazer Baba uses corn starch for their thickener, and the ingredients list is all natural. I keep this on hand as an emergency gift and so have given this to many people, all of whom rave about it!

Tasty Treat
This is very good if you have a sweet tooth. They have a little too much powered sugar for my taste, but you can just brush it off. My Dogs got into the delivery box and they ate a couple of boxes of the turkish delight and they seemed to enjoy them as well.

Amazingly good
My husband loves these! He first got hooked when we had some time to kill in the Istanbul airport and now he can't get enough of Turkish delights. They taste like the ones he first tried.
