Description states 50 astronauts. I have 43. And it totals 60 pieces with all the other parts. The lunar rovers are awesome and there are two seated figures to drive them.This is a total mashup of different time periods of space exploration. Apollo-ish type rockets minus the needles. 2 great fairly accurate moon landing rovers, some type of sky lab, 2 nice space shuttles, 1 cool lunar lander and 2 American flags with stands. 2 flags makes no sense to me but ok. I wish there were boosters for the shuttles but that isnt a deal breaker.So to people complaining there are no female astronauts in this set, tell your kids they are in the shuttles because that is the time period for U.S. women in space in this bucket of mashed up time periods. The moon walking men might be in Gemini style suits....no women wore those or walked around on the moon then. There isnt anything really historically accurate here as a whole but it really is a fun collection of space stuff.There are 10 different poses for the figures I got with mulitples of each. All the figures look great, no flashing or deformities. I am sure they are copies of old figures. Giger counter guy, camera guy, radio, briefcase and more.This is a very nice set. The price is a little too much but I havent seen this on shelves anywhere. I recommend it for kids and old "kids".

Picked this out for my grandson.Exactly what I expected. He will receive them as part of his Christmas gifts.Arrived packaged well in just a couple of days from order date.

Best purchase!!! We were visiting NASA this summer and this was the perfect toy for imaginative play. Some of the toys in the bucket are a little flimsy and broke but still excellent toy!!!

This was a gift for my nephew. It is just like any other "army men" type of play set. Thin plastic men on little stand and some rocket ships with vehicles. He loves it, as do my kids. If you are expecting high quality, don't buy it, but if you are buying for a 3 year old that loves rockets and astronauts then this is for you!

They are small, plastic but worth the price. My son has used and played with his for over a year now and they have held up very well. The fighter are on par with any normal army man type action figure but since he loves space and rockets, this was great for him.

This set was a huge hit with my class of 3 year olds. This coincided with my outer space theme very well. I have 12 children in my class and there was plenty of pieces to go around. The astronauts are small enough that kids can handle them well. The equipment is bigger and they enjoyed blasting off into space. If kinetic sand were not so cost prohibitive, I would buy a bunch and let them pretend that it is the moon's surface.

Basically the same as a bulk pack of cowboys or soldiers, with plastic bodies, on plastic flat stands. My nearly 3-year-old grandson has been working toward potty training, and these make cheat bribes/incentives for success. He has now got 4 space shuttles, but uses them all. He was surprisingly excited about picking a flag, but I had shown him a video of a lunar landing, and he NEEDED the flag! Once he's done receiving all of the items in this bucket, we'll expect him to be fully converted! A nice bulk back of inexpensive toys, which is both serving its purpose, but fun for a little space nut.
