**READ** This Product Literally SAVED My Life!!
I almost knocked several stars off this product for one reason, it is not made clear that this oil hones knives and cutlery. I thought that you could apply this to skills. I wanted to get better at honing my typing skills so slathered some on my keyboard, only to ruin my laptop. Thinking that was just an error with the computer, I then tried honing my skills in the bedroom. The first attempt after covering myself in it, I slipped on our hardwoord floor and cracked my head on the door frame. Luckily, I was slippery enough to where it mostly glanced off the wood, and slid down the hall, staircase, and into the kitchen (which was pretty awesome and I gave a star back). Since my wife didn't know I was showing up anyways, I decided to give this a go (and since I was already coated in this supposed skill enhancing oil) at making a killer sandwich. Well, I had to leave out the mayo as I could not get a grip on the jar lid to open it, nor the package of meat to get some out, or pick apart the slices of cheese.Unable to make a sandwich, yet now hungry, decided I would see how much time this would shave off my drive to the Taco Bell drive-thru. I found it impossible to turn the radio stations at all, but found the steering wheel to flow much smoother in my hands, leading me to believe that this did in fact make my driving skills more honed and precise. Now, the reason I upped this to max stars as this oil literally saved my life at this point. When I got my bag of Doritos Locos Tacos (Nacho of course), I pulled into a parking space to eat the first 5. Mostly out of shame and disgust that I was actually going to eat all of these, and then stare at myself in the mirror with disgust and unapproval later... but man those things are good. Anyways, while I am knocking these out like Mike Tyson in the 80's, a shady looking pair of guys tap on my window with a large looking knife, demanding me to step out of the car. I told them I would, and did not want any trouble, so threw the last bite of #5 in my mouth, and attempted to release my seat belt (yes I wear it while parked too, safety first people.) and found it impossible to get any pressure on the latch without my thumb sliding off. With them growing impatient and awfully flashy with the blade, I calmly informed them that I would need help with the latch and will then gladly step out. After several minutes of odd glances and stares, the blade holder eventually agreed and opened my door. He reached over and clicked the lock down after several attempts and said, "what the hell is all over this thing and why are you so shiny?!" So I explained to him my recent purchase and what it does (or what I thought it was supposed to do.). Needless to say, this only seemed to confuse and anger them more, making them both violent. Knife Guy (tried) to grab the back of my head and throw me down, only to slide off me and started to fall. Sadly, since his one had was already coated, he tried catching himself only to slip faster, this time straight to the concrete and onto his own blade, he died on the scene. Henchmen (Henchman singular? I dunno.) #2 on the other side had made his way into the car at this point, and saw what had transpired. Freaked out, he scootched into my seat and slammed the gas, pulling away wildly from the Taco Bell parking lot.(No seatbelt attached, remember the safety first comment above.)Well, this parking lot is just off of the boulevard, so he had to merge into the other lane. I guess there was too much oil on the wheel and he could not compensate and ended up getting T-Boned by a Salt Truck, spun, and was hit by a 18-Wheeler hauling a tanker with a bunch a red stickers on it with flames... which I correctly assumed was bad. After the fireball lit up the sky and the concussion wave blasted me backward, I am happy to report this fine product allowed to to safely glide across the sidewalk and actually INTO the Taco Bells' accomodating tile flooring as someone had just opened the door to enter. This also allowed me to coast straight to the register where I ordered the remaining 5 tacos I wanted. I sat inside and waited for all of the EMT and fire crews to clear out, gave my statement (I did have some trouble signing it do to the pen sliding all about), and got a cab ride back home. Insurance is replacing the car, I received a $50,000 bounty on the 2 guys as it appears they were at this for a while and I was the only witness to live, and I think in the end, this didn't exactly hone any skills, but may be used to bring your Karma and Luck to a fine edge and therefore improving your life.Oh, this also seems to work great on helping to sharpen bread knives, for when you are in the mood for a late night sandwich.

Got my axe sharper than when I first got it
I use this honing oil in combination with my Lansky Puck to sharpen my axe head edge. Works like magic. Helped the puck to move easily over the axe head, as well as, collecting the metal filings. I got my axe to be super sharp.Would highly recommend. It is a must have for any axe owner.

Lansky oil is my favorite
I like to sharpen hatchets, axes, yard clippers, and any other item that needs a sharp blade with a sharpening puck and oil. I've used various oils over the many years of doing this and lansky is my favorite. Perfect consistency and does a great job in helping to sharpen blades and keep them rust free.
