Best braid so far
As expected by the best fishing line makers, smack down takes the top spot as my favorite braid. It’s very smooth but not the kind of smooth like Berkeley fireline or anything thermofused. I got the 30 pound to put into a bait caster and spinning reel, both were great. It’s stronger than it looks, and the gray is great in my water which is a grayish/clear tint. Planning on switching exclusively to Seagur Smackeown.

Great but frustrating adding line
so far it has been good line, it really is low vi, it is hard to see the line in the water. I wasnt used to adding line through the hole on the side of the box.

Great on spinning reel
This is my go to line for spinning reels, I tie fluorocarbon leaders to the braid with fg knot and it works great and last a long time. Great product really smoothly, and great feel. Knot strength is amazing

Long casts
A good choice for long casts on spinning reels. This is not the most durable of braids and does not offer the best abrasion resistance. However for those who seek long casts, such as surf casters, this may be a good choice of line.
