Our Ceiling Light Fixture uses this type of transformer.
We have a ceiling fixtue with a small canopy and this size transformer fits under the canopy. We like the fixture a lot and were not willing to give it up just yet. Very happy to have found a small transformer that will fit this fixture.. Just a lucky find.

Worked great!
We had an IKEA hall way light that would go on for a second then go off, thinking it was a bad switch so I replaced it, turned out to be bad ballast and this was exact one that it came with! Works fine now

Did NOT last
Very easy to install & is only used 1 to 2 hours a day in a bedside light & it lasted less than one year before it failed, would have expected a longer life than that. Cannot recommend this item.

AWESOME PRODUCT
Okay, I have two pool/spa lights and bought two of these to repolace my old magnetic transformers that went bad. First, I converted my pool bulbs that were 12V from halogen to LED which allowed me to permanently seal the fixtures. All worked great. If you want to conver to LED, order the following from amazon only if you have current medium base standard screw in theads on your existing bulbs. : (1) MR16 LED 12V 50W Equivalent Halogen Replacement Bulbs GU5.3 Pin Base 5W 5000K (2) (Pack of 2) E26/E27 to MR16 Converter, E26/E27 Edison Screw to MR16 - Bi Pin GU5.3 Base Socket Adapter Converter

There is a bright light
I needed a replacement transformer as my previous one was no longer generating enough power. The light was getting dimmer and a new transformer was what I needed. Though not a 100% exact device, it did the job and continues to do the job. My light is as bright as it is supposed to be. I can't comment on its longevity but so far it is working great.
