Bandai Hobby #54 00 Raiser Plus GN Sword LLL Gundam 00 Action Figure (BAN160996)

This model kit is pretty awesome. It features the 00 Gundam, 0 Raiser, and a full arsenal of weapons: the GN Sword III, 2 GN Sword II, 2 beam sabers, and the shield things. I'm very pleased with this kit. The only paint I used was a gray Gundam Marker for the feet, legs (I don't like the stickers on the legs), face, forearms, and various places on the 0 Raiser. Not necessary though, the model is sufficiently detailed without paint.Pros:- Great joint movement, especially in the legs. He can kick his butt, but I don't know why Gundams would need to do that.- Model and weapons are pretty badbutt. GN Sword III never ceases to amaze.- Straightforward instructions. Difficult to get lost when reading the instructions, despite two actual models in this kit.- Comes with a stand! :DCons:- GN Sword III is a little heavier, resulting in a lack of balance. Not too much of a con though.- GN Sword II can be a little flimsy, especially the blue pieces which move when switching the weapon into rifle mode.- Not a huge fan of how the legs connect to the torso. Over time, the pegs will start to lose friction, causing the legs to be loose and even fall off...- Be careful with the elbows, those are fragile, especially with the weight of the GN Sword III.- Not too much of a con, but the clear orange piece on the 0 Raiser is loose. A little bit of glue will fix that up though.Great for beginners and veterans alike. However, this kit has more parts than the usual HG kit; it will just take longer to build. I hope you all have as much fun as I did when I built this spectacle.

An amazing piece of Kit engineering!This kit is a massive joy to build from the moment you open that box with that AMAZING artwork. You are greeted with a plethora of plates with an equal amount of colors. The build for an experienced builder will most likely take around 2-3 hours if you're just straight building, and trust me when I say that you'll enjoy every second of it.Articulation-Right off the bat, I'll say that this kit is the definition of Gundam Contortionist. The head is capable of looking up about 45 degrees, and down maybe 60, as well as being mostly able to rotate all the way around.The arms are capable of moving outward 90 degrees, as well as the intricacies of the inner-frame allowing the arm to bend at a healthy 160 degrees. Besides just your plain ball-joint, the wrists actually have a hinge that allows them to move up and down just a little more. Though this is mostly a minute amount of articulation, its the thought that counts here. The shoulders also have a butterfly-joint built in; one that is effective enough that the Kit is almost capable of reaching all the way to the other shoulder, no problem.The torso has no problem rotating a full 360, as well as good enough side-to-side movement, though the ab-crunch is admittedly not much(Which is fine considering all you'll be piling onto this thing's back, lemme tell ya!).The legs are capable of moving forward a VERY healthy 160 degrees, as well as a 90 degree to the side, and an almost 180 in the knees. The feet are also especially exceptional, being able to move down also almost 180 degrees, and side-to-side 90 degrees.Accessories-Holy crap, we have quite a few for an HG. We have: 2X Beam Sabers, 2X GN Sword II, 2X GN Drives, 2X GN Shields, 1X 0 Raiser, 1X Base Stand, and finally 1X GN Sword III. Each accessory looks, and feels good. All of which hold together pretty well, and hey! It comes with it's own stand, how Kool is that? We don't get those often. Thanks, Bandai!Posing-I'mma just say it. This thing will get in almost any position you please. Even with the 0 Raiser attached on the back, you still don't have place the legs to far back to compensate. On top of this, the Kit has no problem holding and posing with ANY of its accessories. It holds, and poses superb with each one.Verdict-This Kit is easily worth the Five stars, and I'm not even a fan of Gundam 00. This Kit just oozes quality and greatness. It poses well, and stands well. Despite it having a lot going for it, it still has nothing it can't do... Well, besides River Dancing of course. Either way, it is definitely worth the purchase, 00 fan or not.

I had gotten the HG Trans am raiser as one of my first model kits and it DEFINITELY did not disappoint.This, despite the fact that it has different colors, is that the exact same kit. Does this mean that you not pick up both? Not in the least bit. They both look great in their own ways, this model kit has amazing color but unlike the trans am raiser needs a little touching up before it really looks nice. But it really isn't much. All you need is the grey (i used black) on the face and the grey on the feet. They give you a sticker to make the crown on the head yellow, but stickers like that never work so you might want to paint it yellow. Now if you have read my other reviews about gundam 00 kits then you are probably waiting for the part where I say "now they give you these black stickers to put under the clear parts that give a lackluster effect so you may want to paint silver underneath and..." You don't have to do that on this one. The black stickers on this one pleasantly surprised me because they have these green rings and text on them, and the text isn't blurred or anything if you take a magnifying glass you can read what it says. Color the domes green if you want, you really don't have to or want to. In terms or articulation this kit is probably the best. Out of all my HG kits this one has the best.There is LITTLE this kit can't do. It can do the full splits and stand on it's feet at the same time, it can nearly touch it's shoulders. The weight issues? what weight issues? If you are really that concerned, bandai was nice enough to include a stand. It comes with a WIDE array of beam effect parts including the 00 raiser's raiser sword which it could only use in trans am mode. Just the fact that it still came with this NON-TRANS AM kit is great. In terms of weapons it has all seven swords it should have, The two shoulder daggers, the two GN sword II's. the two GN beam sabers, and the best one the GN sword III. When all are equipped it looks like a beast.All in all, this is one of the best HG kits there are. Even better than it's successor the 00 quanta, which is also a good buy.

this model kit is amazing. it was fun just building it and placing it in all types of poses. it did take a bit longer to build than my other models but it is still worth it.
