To short in width. Length fine. They didn't solve. The settee problem

The 2 seater is too short and the 3 seater is too long for my sofa and so I was wondering if these could be trimmed down?

Yea you could trim with something sharp enough, it’ll be a bit of a job tho 👍🏼

How thick are the boards?

They are not very thick at all and if you need support i suggest buying 2 lots, personally they move too easily and I am always trying to reposition them to get a better support. I would not buy them again.
