Looks great
Showed an before and after photo. Applied with Brad gun. Does not take stain. I used acrylic paint to match color. Very happy with result.

Did the job
I tried two other flexible shoe trim option before opting to purchase the FlexTrim #WM126. I initially avoided this product because it was $25 for eight feet, while the big box product was less than $10 each. The other two (from the big box retailer) didn't have the flexibility to wrap the curvature around the stairs.I shrugged my shoulders and bought this -- needing something better than what I had. This flexed well (and even allowed me to cover the area where I cut and installed a plank that was a tad too short). I pressed the head of my nailer snugly on the surface. It did leave a dent in the shoe trim each time. I was able to spackle these dents when filling the nail holes -- turned out to be unnoticeable. It took paint well-enough; not quite the same texture as the pine shoe trim used next to it. I don't think too many will even notice. All-in-all, we're happy. I wish I would have just paid the money for this superior product the first time.

Easy to use and inexpensive
This is great for curved steps. It is very inexpensive and easy to use. The only downside is getting it to stain the right color because it's a plastic rather than wood. It does look like wood once it is stained. Saves hundreds over a custom piece from a carpenter.

Perfect for my rounded staircase
After removing the carpet from the staircase and painting/staining the stairs, I was left with an ugly gap between the wood and the tiles. This molding was a perfect solution and the profile matched the quarter round trim used throughout the house. It was very easy to install and I just followed the instructions, choosing to use small nails and the recommended glue. I used some weights pressed up the edges in a few spots to hold the trim in place overnight as the glue dried. I primed it with Kilz followed by two coats of trim paint, then caulked the bottom edge.

Not 1/2" x 3/4"!
The product seems like it would be useful and work well as intended, but the size is not 1/2" x 3/4". See attached photos. Actual size is 3/8" x 11/16"....which may work for your application, but I needed this to butt up to some existing molding that was true 1/2" x 3/4" and it wasn't even close, it would have created an unprofessional finished product for my situation. That being said, the product it self seems to be well made and feels like it would be workable for what it is intended to do (work around a non-straight wall/base). It does seem to have wood like characteristics (feels cutable, sandable, paintable, etc.). I hate to pull a product's rating down when I haven't really had a chance to try it, but when it's not the size that's advertised, it creates issues for folks.
