I had used an off-brand Merv 8 filter for years and was told by my HVAC company that it would be sufficient for my home (just under 1600 SF). I changed the Merv 8 every 2 months (though they were rated for 3), dating each filter before I put it in and though I was changing them a little early, I was always surprised at how little difference was between the old and the new filter. Well, needing a reminder, I had apparently deleted (rather than "completing" it) the one I had set up on my phone and ultimately realized that my last Merv 8 filter had been in for 6 months! When I changed it, I was surprised at how "not dirty" it was. On 4/1/25, I installed my first Merv 11 having read that they were the better choice. Though it wasn't scheduled to be replaced until 6/1/25, during Spring cleaning I checked on the new filter to see what it looked like and the photo attached is what I saw after only 21 days. My jaw hit the floor! The photo could be better but this is how the used vs the new compare. When I think what the air quality inside my home must have been before Filtrete's Merv 11 filter, I shudder. Buy one and test it then put it on subscription!

The product was great as usual.However, the delivery person did not ring the doorbell nor did I get an email telling me it was delivered. Consequently. the box sat out all night in the rain and was soaking wet this morning when I checked to see if it was delivered.Fortunately the product itself was dry because it was wrapped in plastic.

By far the best filters I have used over a period of many years. I have two long-haired cats so I change filters probably more often that most people and these do a really good job of catching the cat fur. Love having them delivered to my door and not having to make a special trip to one of the home supply stores.

Two month post-installation, the dust in our home is significantly reduced. We live within 10 yards of a forest, with a farmed meadow beyond that. When it's plowed, the dust in the air is visible. These filters seem to make a positive difference. Our air purifier is mostly on the highest, positive air quality indicator, and the filter of this unit is not as clogged with dust as it used to be.Two-month progress report is positive.

A great bargain for the price

Exact fit for my HVAC system. I don't notice any straining by the blower to overcome any air resistance from these filters. The AC air that comes out of the vents seems clean and I don't see a lot of dust in the air or on surfaces.

What’s not to like? I have used this brand for years and they are high quality.
