Bandai Hobby - Mobile Suit Gundam - #70 MS-14S Char's Gelgoog HGUC 1/144 Model Kit

This is a great kit for fans of the HGUC line, and of Char Aznable in particular. The articulation and range of movement aren't the greatest, but this is a bulky suit, so it's to be expected. In fact, it has more joints and points of articulation than I was expecting. It has two ball-joints in the torso which allow for good waist movement, and the knees can almost complete a 180 degree bend. It comes with a beam rifle, a shield, and a beam naginata with two effect parts for the blades. It has two closed fists for holding the naginata, a hand with the trigger finger extended for the rifle, and a hand with the fingers outstretched for dramatic poses.There are only a few drawbacks. First off the lower leg armor greatly restricts the movement of the feet and ankles. This isn't an issue as long as you have an action base but ground poses are going to be limited. Also, this kit really needs to be panel-lined. I don't usually paint my kits, and in that respect this looks great out of the box, but panel-lining is a must to really make this kit pop.If you're a fan of Char, or the original Mobile Suit Gundam, this is an excellent kit for the price.

It is a good looking kit if you have put some panel lines and spend a little bit time to paint it.In the negative side, both legs have very limited movement and make it impossible to set certain posture.Also both of its hand have hard time to hold the twin bean sword tightly.

Great gift for older generation and folks who want a simple but interesting design to build.

Thos kit has a similar build as the Rick Dias, the articulation is similar as well. Although the short front and side skirts can move a little, dont expect the figure to do kneeling poses. The arms have better articulation for manipulating the weapons. It's still a good line up to the Zeon family.

arrived early, great model and easy to build

A real brick of an HG. A solid build, but the legs have little movement. While the kit only requires stickers for the eyes, the entire thing has almost no detail to speak of. However, this kit has very well hidden seam lines. Given the large, flat parts on the kit, this kit would probably make for great painting. The hands aren't tight enough to firmly grip the weapons, making certain poses difficult to pull off.
